Introduction

With the BASS1000, we are introducing

a r o rugged encl sed powe ed

subwoofer. Great looking and capable

of slamming o thisut powerful bass,

system offers you a quick and easy

way to add a high-powered subwoofer

sys yo o sytem to ur audi stem.

The a integr ted amplifier in the

BASS1000 features a low pass

crossover, and a control for adjusting

the input sensitivity from 0.2V to 6V.

Both high level (speaker level) and low

leve typ ul (RCA e) inp ts are present,

making this a universal solution for use

with any head unit o r other input

source.

Fo er u ofr furth flexibility in the se a

control has been included. You can

control the sub f woo er level with the

remote level control module.

What should I do if the POWER STATUS

LED turns RED?

If you o vbser e that the POWER STATUS

LED IS RED, please check the system

carefully to hdetermine w at has caused

the prote to ction circuit engage.

To reset the amplified subwoofer when

it is in PROTECT mode, turn the power

of tf o the sy y fstem (usually b turning of

the head unit o ar other sign l source

which feeds the amplifier) and then turn

it o an ag in.

If the internal amplifier has shut down

due to thermal overload, you should first

allow i l rt to coo down before estarti .ng

If the s w ue nhut do n was d to either a

input overload or a short circuit, be sure

to r these o recor ect conditi ns befo

attempting t ow to p er up he subwoofer

again.

The i built- n amplifier incorporates

special prote ction circuitry which will

disa tble the amplifier if any of he

following sh :ould occur

• Input overload

• Short circuit

• Extremely high temperatures

If any o of these conditi ns is detected,

the amplifier will go seinto a lf-

preservatio ndn mode, a the PROTECT

LED o then control panel will glow in

RED color.
