instructions or any other safety instructions incorporated
in this book be ignored.

Remove and discard any packaging material before
using this accessory. Most of the packaging materials are
recyclable. Please dispose of those materials through your
local recycling depot or by placing them in the a ropriate pp
collection containers.

Grease filters must be removed ever four wy eeks

The exhaust air from the rangehood must not be
discharged into any heating flue, which may carry
combustion products from othe sor urces.

when the rangehood is used at the same time as
a liances burnin gapp g s or othe fuels.r
Always cover lit s ga burners with pots or pans when
the rangehood is in use.

Cleaning
Wipe the rangehood dbo y and flue with a s ngpo e or
sof clott h soaked in warm apy waterso , and dry with a
sof clotht , for stai esnl s steel models a ly a pp stai ess nl
steel protector. Do not use oven cleaners or other
abrasive materials.
There is a fire risk if cleaning is not ca ierr d out in
a ordance with the cc instructions.
Electri l Connectionca
Check that the ma s vin oltage matche with the s
voltage on the data plate inside the rangehood.
Check that the allatioinst n co lies witmp h standard of s
local gas and electricity authorities.
If the su ly cord is damaged, ipp t must be replaced
by the manu cturefa r o its servicr e agent or a similarly
qualied person n i order to avoid a hazard.

When usingexible duct always install duct with the
wire helix pulled tau to minimise pressure ss.t lo
Try to keep exhaust duct short and straight.
Keep bends in the exhaust duct to minimum. a

Reducing the size of the exhaust duct will reduce the
airflow of the rangehood. Please re tructad ins ions
carefully. Service ca s res ting from incorrect ll ul
installation w l be charged for.il
Exhaust air from the rangehood must not be discharged

products from other urcesso . I ddition, exhaust air n a
must not be discharged into a wall cavity, u ess the nl
cavity is designed for the purp e. Adequate ventilation os
of the room mus bt e ensured when the rangehood is
operating sim taneo lul us y with a liance burning gas or pp s
other fuels. Installation must co ly imp n all re ectsp s with
your gas and electrical authorities. This rangehood is an
indoor domestic a liance, anpp d has been manu ctured fa
and tested to co ly with Australia an New Zealand mp n d
Standard AS/NZS 60335.1 and 60335.2.31
