2 Safety
2.1 Safety instructions
–Only mount the product on components that are in a condition to be safely
operated.
2.2 Intended use
The adapter plate acts as an interface between a positioner, a valve terminalVTOP
and a semi-rotary drive.
–The interface between the valve terminal and the semi-rotary drive corresponds
to VDI/VDE3845-1.
–The interface between the valve terminal and the positioner corresponds to
VDI/VDE3847-2.

2.3 Training of qualified personnel
Work on the product may only be carried out by qualified personnel who can

2. Mount the bridge[1] with the screws[3] on the semi-rotary drive[6]. Tight-
ening torque:3Nm±20%

5.3 Mounting adapter kit VABA-C13-G14
It is only useful to mount the adapter kitVABA-C13-G14 with
VABA-C13-100-1-F90-G12-G14.

1. Position the O-rings[10] and the adapter plate[7].
2. Position the toothed discs[8].
3. Tighten the screws[9]. Tightening torque: 5Nm±10%
