INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING
THIS HUMIDIFIER
Warning When using electrical
appliances, basic precautions should
always be followed to reduce the risk
of fire, electric shock, and injury to
persons, including the following
1. The appliance should always be placed on a
firm, flat, waterproof surface at least 4 feet
(1.2 m) away from bedside and 12 inches
(30 cm) from the wall and out of reach of
patients, children and pets. Be sure the
appliance is in a stable position and the
power cord is away from heated surfaces and
out of the way to prevent the humidifier from
being tipped over.
2. The appliance should not be left unattended
in a closed room since air could become
saturated and leave condensation on walls
and furniture. Leave room door partly open.
3. Before using the appliance, extend the
cord and inspect for any signs of damage.
DO NOT use the unit if the cord has been
damaged.
4. The appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other) as a safety feature.
This plug will fit into a polarized wall outlet
only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into
the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT
attempt to defeat this safety feature.
5.
To avoid fire or shock hazard, plug the appliance
directly into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
6. The humidifier should always be unplugged
and emptied when not in operation or while
being serviced or cleaned. Never tilt or
attempt to move the humidifier while it is
operating or filled with water. UNPLUG the
humidifier before moving. Plug and unplug
unit with dry hands. Never pull by cord.
7. DO NOT operate the appliance without water.
Turn off and unplug unit when tank is empty.
8. Caution: To avoid the risk of fire, shock or
personal injury, DO NOT use an extension
cord.
9. Appliance requires regular cleaning. Refer to
and follow cleaning instructions.
10. DO NOT operate outdoors; this appliance is
intended for indoor use.
11. DO NOT cover or insert objects into any
opening on the unit.
12. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any
electrical or mechanical functions on this
appliance. Doing so will void your warranty.
13. This product is intended for residential use
only.
14. DO NOT add any medications (e.g. Kaz
Inhalant or Vicks VapoSteam) into the Mist
Outlet, Steam Area, or Water Tank. Add only
to the medicine cup located on the top of the
steam outlet.
15. DO NOT touch the steam vapor. Steam can
cause burns. DO NOT operate without the
top cover, steam funnel or float in place.
16. When moving or lifting the unit, use recessed
areas located on bottom or unit and carry
with both hands.

INTRODUCTION
How it Works:
The Easy to Care Warm Mist Humidifier is designed to quietly provide visible warm moisture.
Water is released from the water tank into the boiling chamber. The boiling action helps separate
minerals from the water and kill bacteria, providing purified warm moisture.
Your humidifier is made up of these parts:
Up to 95% bacteria free steam test results as follows:
Based on Intertek Testing Services NA Inc Independent Laboratory Testing Report 100982403COL-001.
Results are based on the reduction of the following bacteria after 2 hours of continuous use:
E.Coli: up to 99.3% after 2 hours of continuous use
S. Epidermis: up to 99.9% after 2 hours of continuous use
P.Fluorescens: up to 95.6% after 2 hours of continuous use

You can continue to refill the
humidifier even if the unit has
not run out of water.
Placement
Select a firm, level location at least 12” (30cm) from any walls.
Place the humidifier on a water-resistant surface.
Kaz will not accept responsibility for property damage
caused by water spillage.
WARNING KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. This product produces HOT STEAM and
should be placed in an area not accessible to children or pets with the power cord also
securely out of reach.
SETTING UP YOUR HUMIDIFIER
Remove from box
Remove packaging material. Set aside instruction manual. Recycle
packaging materials or save for storage.
Ensure Proper Assembly
Make sure float and mist dome/mist chimney are securely in place.
Remove twist tie from power cord and extend power cord full length.
Do not operate humidifier with power cord coiled or tied or if its power
cord is damaged. See page 6 for detailed assembly information.
If the unit runs out of water, the
refill light will illuminate.
To reset the humidifier, turn the
unit off, fill water tank/fill area
with cool water, wait 15 minutes
and turn unit back on.
FILLING / RE-FILLING
ADDING LIQUID INHALANT
Pour as much as 1.3 Gallons (4.9
L) or as little as 10 oz (0.3 L) of
water into the fill area located on
the top of the unit.
This humidifier can be used with liquid inhalants such as Kaz Inhalant or Vicks VapoSteam.
Inhalant should be used in the medicine cup only. DO NOT ADD LIQUID INHALANT TO THE WATER.
Step 1: Turn humidifier off, unplug and allow to cool for 20-30 minutes.
Step 2: Add 1 Tablespoon of liquid inhalant to the medicine cup.
Step 3: With dry hands plug unit in and proceed to following unit operating instructions.
Step 4: When no longer using inhalant remove liquid residue left from inhalant by using a soft
dry cloth to wipe out. Note: Liquid will remain in medicine cup even after inhalant
scent has been dispersed into the air.
DO NOT ADD LIQUID INHALANT TO THE WATER.
DO NOT POUR WATER INTO THE BOILING CHAMBER.
