TapeAssure Advanced reporting and Data Verification analysis, alongside remote management, diagnostics and configuration for

all

e Libraries from across the room or across the globe. HPE StoreEver TapeAssure Advanced provides the analytics element

that implements and presents automated and predictive health, performance and utilization related monitoring of all tape driv

cartridges. HPE StoreEver Data Verification Software proactively validates and scans, non-

disruptively, the quality of data stored on

LTO tape cartridges, which ensures a successful restore is possible when critical business data is needed.

Easy Installation

The MSL2024 Tape Library is shipped as a rack-ready unit. The rack mount hardware included with the library allows

installation in a variety of HPE racks. For more information on the HPE rack offerings, please see the following URL.

NOTE: For the MSL 1/8 Autoloader, the rack-

mount kit must be ordered separately. Please see the configuration information for

Partitioning

The MSL2024 Tape Libraries now include the ability to be configured as a partitioned library. MSL Libraries may be configured with

up to one partition per drive; two partitions if two drives are installed. Partitioning allows each partitioned library to be

presented to

the host as an i

ndependent library, separate from other partitions in the library. Hosts for each partition own independent sets of

media and can use ISV software that is different from the other partitions allowing maximum flexibility and utilization of th

e MSL

library.
