Avoid risk of fatal electric shock

and re

• In case of an emergency: immediately

remove the plug from the power

socket.

• Only plug the appliance into

suitable, easily accessible, earthed

mains connections. Make sure that

the voltage of the power source is

the same as that specied on the

rating plate. The use of an incorrect

connection voids the guarantee.

The appliance must only be

connected after installation

• Do not pull the cord over sharp edges,

clamp it or allow it to hang down.

• Keep the cord away from heat and

damp.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must

be replaced by the manufacturer, its

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• Always place it on a horizontal, stable

and even surface. The surface must be

resistant to heat and uids, like water,

coee, descaler or similar.

• Disconnect the appliance from the

mains when not in use for a long

period. Disconnect by pulling out the

plug and not by pulling the cord itself

or the cord may become damaged.

• Before cleaning and servicing, remove

the plug from the mains socket and let

the appliance cool down.

• Never touch the cord with wet hands.

• Never immerse the appliance or part

of it in water or other liquid.

• Never put the appliance or part of it in

a dishwasher.

• Electricity and water together is

dangerous and can lead to fatal

electrical shocks.

• Do not open the appliance. Hazardous

voltage inside!

• Do not put anything into any

openings. Doing so may cause re or

electrical shock!

Avoid possible harm when

operating the appliance

• Never leave the appliance unattended

• Do not put ngers into capsule

compartment or the capsule shaft.

Danger of injury!

• Water could ow around a capsule

when not perforated by the blades

and damage the appliance.

• Never use a damaged or deformed

capsule. If a capsule is blocked in

the capsule compartment, turn the

machine o and unplug it before any

operation. Call the Nespresso Club or

Nespresso authorized representative.

• Always ll the water tank with cold,

fresh drinking water.

• Empty water tank if the appliance

will not be used for an extended time

(holidays, etc.).

• Replace water in water tank when

the appliance is not operated for a

weekend or a similar period of time.

• Do not use the appliance without the

drip tray and drip grid to avoid spilling

any liquid on surrounding surfaces.

• Do not use any strong cleaning agent

or solvent cleaner. Use a damp cloth

and mild cleaning agent to clean the

surface of the appliance.

• To clean machine, use only clean

cleaning tools.

• When unpacking the machine,

remove the plastic lm and dispose.

• This appliance is designed for

Nespresso coee capsules available

exclusively through the Nespresso

Club or your Nespresso authorized

representative.

• All Nespresso appliances pass stringent

controls. Reliability tests under

practical conditions are performed

randomly on selected units. This can

show traces of any previous use.

Descaling

• Nespresso descaling agent, when

used correctly, helps ensure the

proper functioning of your machine

over its lifetime and that your coee

experience is as perfect as the rst day.

To turn the machine on either press the Espresso or

Lungo button.

1. With machine being turned o, press and hold the

Espresso button for 3 seconds.

CAUTION: never lift lever during operation and refer to the safety precautions to avoid possible harm

when operating the appliance.

NOTE: during heat up, you can press either coee button whilst blinking. The coee will then ow

automatically when the machine is ready.

5. Press the Espresso (40 ml) or the Lungo

(110 ml) button to start. Preparation will

stop automatically. To stop the coee ow

or top up your coee, press again.

wait for it to be in ready

mode (steady lights).

MILK FROTH PREPARATION/

PRÉPARATION DE LA MOUSSE DE LAIT

WARNING: only use the Aeroccino with the connector provided. Risk of electrical shock and re! Make sure the under side of the milk frother is dry.

AVERTISSEMENT: utiliser l’Aeroccino uniquement avec le branchement fourni. Risque d’électrocution et d’incendie! Assurez-vous que le dessous de

l’émulsionneur de lait est sec.

1. Attach the relevant whisk.

1. Fixez le fouet souhaité.

3. Place the lid on the Aeroccino. For a hot preparation, briey press button to start. Button

lights up Red. Takes approx. 70-80 sec. For cold milk froth, keep button pressed for approx.

2 seconds. Button lights up Blue. Takes approx. 60 sec.

3. Placez le couvercle sur l’Aeroccino. Pour une boisson chaude, pressez rapidement le

bouton marche. Le bouton s’allume en rouge. Patientez 70-80 sec. Pour une mousse de lait

froide, garder le bouton appuyé environ deux secondes. Le bouton s’allume en bleu. Patienter

environ 60 sec.

4. Clean after each preparation. Only use non

abrasive cloth, never use a brush. Jug is water

proof. Do not put in dishwasher.

4. Nettoyez après chaque utilisation. Utilisez

uniquement des chions doux, ne jamais utiliser

une brosse. Le réservoir à lait est résistant à l’eau.

Ne pas mettre dans le lave-vaisselle.

2. Fill milk frother up to one of the two «max»

level.

2. Remplissez le mousseur à lait jusqu’à l’un des

deux niveaux «max».

TIP: for optimum milk froth, use whole or semi skimmed milk at refrigerated temperature (about 4-6° C).

No coee, no water.

➔ First use: ll water tank with warm water (max. 55° C) and run through machine according to instructions on

Krups guarantees this product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. During this period, Krups will either repair or replace, at its discretion, any defective

product at no charge to the owner. Replacement products or repaired parts will be guaranteed for only the unexpired portion of the original guarantee or six months, whichever is greater. This limited guarantee does

not apply to any defect resulting from accident, misuse, improper maintenance, or normal wear and tear. Except to the extent allowed by applicable law, the terms of this limited guarantee do not exclude, restrict or

Evitare rischi di scosse

Vericare che la tensione riportata

Club oppure a un rappresentante

autorizzato di Nespresso.

• Nel caso in cui occorra una

prolunga, utilizzare solo un cavo

con conduttore di messa a terra

con sezione di almeno 1,5 mm2 o

potenza di ingresso corrispondente.

• Per evitare eventuali danni, non

posizionare mai l’apparecchio

accanto o su ripiani caldi come

caloriferi, piano cottura, amme o

simili.

• Posizionare l’apparecchio su una

supercie orizzontale, piana e

stabile. La supercie deve essere

resistente al calore e ai liquidi come

acqua, caè, decalcicanti e simili.

• Durante lunghi periodi di non

utilizzo, scollegare l’apparecchio

dalla presa di alimentazione. Per

evitare di provocare danni al cavo,

scollegare l’apparecchio tirando la

spina e non il cavo.

• Prima della pulizia e della

manutenzione, togliere la spina

Diese Maschine ist mit einer Energie-Sparfunktion ausgestattet. Nach 9-minütiger Nichtbenutzung schaltet sie sich automatisch aus.

Questa macchina è dotata della modalità risparmio energetico. La macchina si spegnerà automaticamente dopo 9 minuti.

RISPARMIO ENERGETICO

Um die Maschine einzuschalten, drücken Sie die

Espresso- oder Lungotaste.

Per accendere la macchina, premere il pulsante

Espresso o il pulsante Lungo.

1. Drücken Sie bei ausgeschalteter Maschine die

Espressotaste und halten Sie diese für 3 Sekunden

gedrückt.

1. Con la macchina spenta, tenere premuto il pulsante

Espresso per 3 secondi.

3. Um die Einstellung zu ändern, Espressotaste drücken:

Einmaliges Drücken aktiviert die Abschaltautomatik nach 9 Minuten.

Erneutes Drücken aktiviert die Abschaltautomatik nach 30 Minuten.

3. Per cambiare l’impostazione premere il pulsante Espresso:

Una volta per la modalità di spegnimento dopo 9 minuti.

Un’altra volta per la modalità di spegnimento dopo 30 minuti.

2. Die Espressotaste blinkt, um die derzeitige Einstellung anzuzeigen.

2. Il pulsante Espresso lampeggerà per indicare l’impostazione corrente.

4. Um die Einstellung des Power-o-Modus zu verlassen, drücken

Sie die Lungotaste für 3 Sekunden.

4. Per uscire dalla modalità di risparmio energetico premere il

pulsante Lungo per 3 secondi.

Um die Maschine auszutauschen, bevor sie in den automatischen

Power-o Modus wechselt, drücken Sie die Espresso- und die Lungo-

taste gleichzeitig.

Per spegnere la macchina, prima dello stand-by automatico, premere

contemporaneamente i pulsanti Espresso e Lungo.
