INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing the Breva cool mist
humidier by LANAFORM. The Brevahumid-
ier helps you restore a proper humidity lev-
el and eliminate the discomfort associated
with dry air. The ventilation system diuses
water in the form of cool vapour and there-
by provides the required level of humidity.
Please read all the
instructions before using your
humidier, especially this
basic safety information
This device is not intended for use by people,
including children, with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or people with
a lack of experience or knowledge, unless
someone responsible for their safety can
supervise or instruct them beforehand on
how to use the device. Children should be
supervised to make sure they do not play
with the device.
Use this device only in accordance with the
instructions given in this manual.
Check that your mains voltage is the same
as that of your device.
Always place the Breva humidier on a hard,
at and horizontal surface. Keep it away from
walls (at least  cm) and heat sources such
as stoves, radiators, etc.
If it is not placed on a
horizontal surface, the device
may not work properly.
Do not connect or disconnect the plug of
the device with wet hands.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by a similar cable available from
the supplier or the supplier’s after-sales
department.
Do not leave the device exposed to di-
rect sunlight.
Fill the reservoir with clean, fresh, distilled
or demineralised water.
Do not take the device apart either as a
whole or even its base unit.
Do not switch on the device when there is
no water in the reservoir.
Do not shake the device. This could cause
the water to spill over into the base unit and
prevent the device from working.
Never touch the water or components when
the unit is running.
If there is an unusual smell when the device
is being used as described in this manual,
switch o the device, unplug it and have it
examined by the supplier or the supplier’s
after-sales department.
Do not use essential oils with this device.
Do not pour hot water, i.e. water with a
temperature above °C, into the reservoir.
Unplug the device before cleaning it or re-
moving the reservoir.
Do not wash the entire unit with water
and do not immerse it in water. Consult
the cleaning instructions in this manual.
Never scrape the transducer with a hard
tool. The Breva humidier must be cleaned
regularly. To do this, consult the cleaning
instructions in this manual and follow them.
If it falls into water, unplug it immediately
before retrieving it.
Electrical appliances should never be left
unattended when connected. Unplug it
when you are not using it.
Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces.
Never use this appliance in a room in which
aerosols (sprays) are used or in a room where
oxygen is administered.
Use the humidier only when it is lled
with water.
Do not put items of clothing or towels on
top of the device. If the vapour emission
sprinkler tip is obstructed, this may cause
the device to malfunction.
Never point the vapour emission sprin-
kler tip towards electrical devices, books
or wooden objects that could present a
risk of mould.
When moving the device, lift it up by the
base and not by the water reservoir.
Do not use the humidier if the air in the
room is already suciently humid (relative
humidity of at least ). The ideal relative
humidity level for human comfort is between
 and . Excess humidity manifests
itself in condensation on cold surfaces or
on cold walls in the room. To measure the
room’s humidity correctly, use a hygrom-
eter available in most specialist shops and
hypermarkets.
The Breva humidier is designed for indoor
and domestic use only.
Use only the accessories supplied with this
device. The use of any unauthorised acces-
sory will not be covered by the warranty.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before using the humidier
for the rst time
Remove the humidier from its original
packaging and make sure that it does not
have any faults. If you notice any faults, re-
turn the humidier to the supplier or the
supplier’s after-sales department.
Put the Breva humidier in the room for
half an hour before switching it on so that
it can adjust to room temperature.
The temperature of the room must always
be between °C and °C, and the temper-
ature of the water must be less than °C.
Fitting the anti-scaling lter
Attach the anti-scaling lter [ ,
] to the
inner wall of the reservoir cap [
, ] by
turning it in a clockwise direction. Con

turn it anticlockwise.
Instructions for use
Remove the diuser nozzle [
, ]. Then
remove reservoir [ , ] by removing the
handle [ , ] and invert it. Turn the res-

[ , ]
. Then pour clean, fresh, dis-
tilled or demineralised water into the reser-
voir. Replace the cap and turn in a clockwise
direction to close it tightly.
Fit the reservoir correctly on to the base
of the device and replace it with the dif-
fuser nozzle.
Make sure your hands are completely dry when
connecting and disconnecting the device.
Once the humidier is switched on, keep
your nger on the touch control button for
a few seconds [
, ].
The humidier is now working. Press the
touch control button to adjust the emission
of cool vapour to one of the three available
intensity levels. The corresponding LED in-
dicator will light up:
Purple for the lowest intensity (press
a rst time);
Green for medium intensity (press a
second time);
Blue for high intensity – approximately
300 ml/hr (press a third time).

or it has been removed from its base, the hu-
