CURV 500® SECURITY KIT 1 (W)
SECURITY KIT FOR CURV 500 SATELLITES
SAFETY INFORMATION
1. Please read these instructions carefully.
2. Keep all information and instructions in a safe place.
3. Follow the instructions.
4. Observe all safety warnings. Never remove safety warnings or other information from the equipment.
5. Use the equipment only in the intended manner and for the intended purpose.
6. During installation, observe the applicable safety regulations for your country.
7. Never place sources of ignition, e.g., burning candles, on the equipment.
8. Do not use this equipment in the immediate vicinity of water (does not apply to special outdoor equipment - in
this case, observe the special instructions noted below. Do not expose this equipment to flammable materials,
fluids or gases.
9. Make certain that dripping or splashed water cannot enter the equipment. Do not place containers filled with
liquids, such as vases or drinking vessels, on the equipment.
10. Make certain that objects cannot fall into the device.
11. Use this equipment only with the accessories recommended and intended by the manufacturer.
12. Do not open or modify this equipment.
13. After connecting the equipment, check all cables in order to prevent damage or accidents, e.g., due to tripping
hazards.
14. During transport, make certain that the equipment cannot fall down and possibly cause property damage
and personal injuries.
15. If your equipment is no longer functioning properly, if fluids or objects have gotten inside the equipment or if
it has been damaged in another way, switch it off immediately and unplug it from the mains outlet (if it is a
powered device). This equipment may only be repaired by authorized, qualified personnel.
16. Clean the equipment using a dry cloth.
17. Comply with all applicable disposal laws in your country. During disposal of packaging, please separate
plastic and paper/cardboard.
18. Plastic bags must be kept out of reach of children.

and prolonged exposure: When in use, this product is capable of producing high sound-pressure levels (SPL) that
can lead to irreversible hearing damage in performers, employees, and audience members. For this reason, avoid
prolonged exposure to volumes in excess of 90 dB.
To prevent possible hearing damage, avoid listening at high volume levels over long periods of time.
Even exposure to short bursts of loud noise can result in hearing loss. Please keep the volume
constantly at a comfortable level.

release button on the side of the satellite. Ensure that the two guide rails of the satellite properly slide into the grooves
of the SmartLink adapter in order to ensure a tight fit and establish a contact for both components. Now release the
button to lock the connection and to bring the button back to its original position. Proceed in the same manner as
described above to add other satellites. When disassembling, please proceed in reverse order.

LDCURV500SECKIT1 attachment kit for mechanically securing up to six CURV 500 individual satellites to the CURV 500
SmartLink adapter. The attachment kit is available in both black and white.
COMPONENTS AND ASSEMBLY

Base element with 90° angle for screwing onto the CURV 500 SmartLink adapter with the first individual satellite
in the array.

Five metal connection elements for securing up to six CURV 500 individual satellites.

Seven M3 screws with spring washers for screwing on the components.
Remove the respective rubber foot on the bottom of the SmartLink adapter (see No. 4) and screw on the base element
(No. 1), either using the rubber foot just removed or one of the M3 screws included plus spring washer. Now place a
connection element with its edged side on the base element so that the slots of the two elements overlap (No. 5) and
screw the two elements to the first satellite in the array using one of the M3 screws included plus spring washer. Now
secure the other satellites in the array in order in the same way (see No. 6). Regularly check all components to make
sure they are complete and firmly attached!

BESCHREIBUNG
LDCURV500SECKIT1 Sicherungs-Kit zum mechanischen Sichern von bis zu sechs CURV 500 Einzelsatelliten am CURV
500 SmartLink Adapter. Das Sicherungs-Kit ist sowohl in schwarzer als auch in weißer Farbe erhältlich.
KOMPONENTEN UND MONTAGE

Basiselement mit 90° Winkel zum Verschrauben des CURV 500 SmartLink Adapters mit dem ersten Einzelsatelliten
im Array.

Fünf Verbindungselemente aus Metall zum Sichern von bis zu sechs CURV 500 Einzelsatelliten.

Sieben M3 Schrauben mit Federscheiben zum Verschrauben der Komponenten.
Entfernen Sie den entsprechenden Gummifuß auf der Unterseite des SmartLink Adapters (siehe Nr. 4) und schrauben
das Basiselement (Nr. 1) nun entweder mit Hilfe des zuvor entfernten Gummifußes oder einer beiliegenden M3
Schraube plus Federscheibe fest. Legen Sie jetzt ein Verbindungselement mit der gekröpften Seite auf das Basisele-
ment, in der Art, dass die Langlöcher beider Elemente übereinanderliegen (Nr. 5) und schrauben beide Elemente
mit Hilfe einer beiliegenden M3 Schraube plus Federscheibe am ersten Satelliten im Array fest. Sichern Sie nun die
anderen Satelliten im Array der Reihe nach in der gleichen Weise (siehe Nr. 6). Überprüfen Sie alle Komponenten
regelmäßig auf Vollständigkeit und festen Halt!
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
1. Lesen Sie diese Anleitung bitte sorgfältig durch.
2. Bewahren Sie alle Informationen und Anleitungen an einem sicheren Ort auf.
3. Befolgen Sie die Anweisungen.
4. Beachten Sie alle Warnhinweise. Entfernen Sie keine Sicherheitshinweise oder andere Informationen vom
Gerät.
5. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur in der vorgesehenen Art und Weise.
6. Beachten Sie bei der Installation die für Ihr Land geltenden Sicherheitsvorschriften.
7. Platzieren Sie keine Zündquellen wie z.B. brennende Kerzen auf dem Gerät.
8. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe von Wasser (gilt nicht für spezielle Outdoor Geräte -
beachten Sie in diesem Fall bitte die im Folgenden vermerkten Sonderhinweise). Bringen Sie das Gerät nicht
mit brennbaren Materialien, Flüssigkeiten oder Gasen in Berührung.
9. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass kein Tropf- oder Spritzwasser in das Gerät eindringen kann. Stellen Sie keine mit
Flüssigkeit gefüllten Behältnisse wie Vasen oder Trinkgefäße auf das Gerät.
10. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass keine Gegenstände in das Gerät fallen können.
11. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur mit dem vom Hersteller empfohlenen und vorgesehenen Zubehör.
12. Öffnen Sie das Gerät nicht und verändern Sie es nicht.
13. Überprüfen Sie nach dem Anschluss des Geräts alle Kabelwege, um Schäden oder Unfälle, z. B. durch Stolp
-
erfallen zu vermeiden.
14. Achten Sie beim Transport darauf, dass das Gerät nicht herunterfallen und dabei mög-
licherweise Sach- und Personenschäden verursachen kann.
15. Wenn Ihr Gerät nicht mehr ordnungsgemäß funktioniert, Flüssigkeiten oder Gegenstände in das Geräteinnere
gelangt sind, oder das Gerät anderweitig beschädigt wurde, schalten Sie es sofort aus und trennen es von
der Netzsteckdose (sofern es sich um ein aktives Gerät handelt). Dieses Gerät darf nur von autorisiertem
Fachpersonal repariert werden.
16. Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung des Geräts ein trockenes Tuch.
17. Beachten Sie alle in Ihrem Land geltenden Entsorgungsgesetze. Trennen Sie bei der Entsorgung der Verpack-
ung bitte Kunststoff und Papier bzw. Kartonagen voneinander.
18. Kunststoffbeutel müssen außer Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahrt werden
