Personen mit technischen Grundkenntnis-

sen im Umgang mit Geräten wie dem hier

beschriebenen. Wenn Sie keinerlei Erfah-

rung mit solchen Geräten haben, sollten

Sie zunächst die Hilfe von erfahrenen Per-

sonen in Anspruch nehmen.

portschaden feststellen, benachrichtigen

3.1 Bestimmungsgemäße

Verwendung

Die Tauchpumpen sind bestimmt zum Ent-

wässern auf Baustellen, in der Landwirtschaft

und im Haus- und Gartenbereich.

SP 24-46 SG und SP 28-50 S Inox sind darü-

ber hinaus bestimmt zum Pumpen von Ab-

wasser im industriellen und häuslichen Um-

feld.

Zulässige Förderflüssigkeit

Klar- oder Schmutzwasser

– Der Feststoffanteil im Schmutzwasser darf

die in den Technischen Daten angegebe-

ne maximale Korngröße nicht überschrei-

ten.

– Der PH-Wert der Flüssigkeit muss zwi-

schen 6 bis 9 liegen.

Jede andere Verwendung gilt als bestim-

mungswidrig und nicht zulässig.

Typische Anwendungsbereiche

– Trockenlegen von Baugruben, Teichen,

überschwemmten Räumen und zur Keller-

entwässerung. Auspumpen von Behältern,

Wasserbecken, Schwimmbecken oder Si-

ckerschächten.

– Dauerumwälzung (Teich).

Bestimmungswidrige Verwendung

Das Gerät ist nicht bestimmt zur...

– DP 18-5 SA, SP 24-46 SG: Förderung von

Flüssigkeiten mit einer Temperatur

> 35 °C.

– DP 28-10 S Inox, SP 28-50 S Inox: Förde-

rung von Flüssigkeiten mit einer Tempera-

tur > 35 °C für Haushaltszwecke; Förde-

rung von Flüssigkeiten mit einer Tempera-

tur > 50 °C für andere Zwecke.

– Trinkwasserversorgung oder zum Fördern

von Lebensmitteln.

– Förderung von Salzwasser.

handling tools such as the one described

here. If you have no experience with this

type of tool we strongly recommend that

you seek the advice of an experienced

person before operating this tool.

– If you notice transport damage while un-

packing, notify your supplier immediately.

Do not operate the tool!

– Dispose of the packaging in an environ-

mentally friendly manner. Take to a proper

collection point.

– Keep all documents supplied with the tool for

future reference. Retain your proof of pur-

chase for any future warranty claims.

– If you lend or sell this tool, be sure to in-

clude the documents supplied with the

3.1 Specified conditions of use

The submersible pumps are designed for

draining purposes on construction sites, in

agriculture and in domestic homes and gar-

dens.

SP 24-46 SG and SP 28-50 S Inox are also

intended for draining wastewater both in in-

dustrial and domestic environments.

Approved pumping media

Clean or dirty water

– The particle sizes of the solids in the dirty

water must not exceed the maximum parti-

cle size specified in the technical data.

– The liquid must have a pH value of be-

tween 6 and 9.

Any other use is considered to be not as

specified and therefore not allowed.

Typical application areas

– draining of building pits, ponds, flooded ar-

eas; also for draining basements. pumping

out of tanks, water basins, swimming pools

or soakaways.

– continuous circulation (pond).

Unspecified use

The pump is not intended for:

– DP 18-5 SA, SP 24-46 SG: pumping of liq-

uids at temperatures > 35 °C.

– DP 28-10 S Inox, SP 28-50 S Inox: pump-

ing of liquids at temperatures > 35 °C for

household purposes; pumping of liquids at

temperatures > 50 °C for other purposes.

– supplying drinking water or pumping liquid

food;

– pumping salt water;

– pumping explosive, inflammable, corrosive

or health-damaging substances or human

waste;

The pump should not be used by people

who:

– have physical and/or mental impairments;

– have impaired senses;

– do not have adequate experience and/or

knowledge in handling the pump; or

– have not read and understood the operat-

ing instructions.

Children should be supervised to ensure that

they do not play with the device.

This device is not designed for use by per-

sons (including children) with physical, sen-

sory or mental disabilities, or with insufficient

experience and/or knowledge, unless they

are supervised by a person responsible for

their safety, or have received instructions on

how to use the device by this person.

The manufacturer assumes no liability for

damage caused by unspecified use.

Unspecified use, modification of the pump or

use of parts that have not been tested and

approved by the manufacturer can cause un-

foreseeable damage!

3.2 General safety instructions

– When using this pump, observe

the following safety instructions

to exclude the risk of personal

injury or material damage.

– Never allow children to use the

machine.

– Children should be supervised

to ensure that they do not play

with the tool.

– Follow the legal guidelines or ac-

cident prevention regulations for

using submersible pumps.

– When the pump is being used in

swimming pools, garden ponds

and in the protected areas

around them, the regulations

must be observed in accordance

with IEC 60364-7-702.

All national regulations relating

to the safe operation of sub-

mersible pumps must also be

followed.

– The pump must be protected by

a residual current device (RCD)

with a trip current of max 30 mA.

General danger!

Do not operate the pump if

anyone is in contact with the

pumping media (e.g. in a swim-

ming pool or garden pond)!

The following residual risks essen-

tially remain when operating sub-

mersible pumps and cannot be ful-

ly eliminated – even by employing

safety devices.

Danger from the environ-

ment!

Do not use the pump in haz-

ardous locations or near inflamma-

ble liquids and gases!

Danger! Risk of electric

shock!

Do not touch the plug with

wet hands! To disconnect, always

pull on the plug, not the power ca-

ble.

Connect only to an earthed outlet

that is properly installed, earthed

and tested. Mains voltage and

fuse protection must correspond

to those stated in the 'Technical

Specifications'.

Always lift and transport the pump

by the handle, never by the power

cable or discharge hose.

Extension cables must have suffi-

cient conductor cross sections.

Unroll cable reels fully.

Do not buckle, squeeze, drag or

drive over power cable or exten-

sion cables; protect from sharp

edges, oil and heat.

Place extension cable so that it

cannot get into the fluid to be

pumped.

Always unplug before servicing

the pump.

Risk of electric shock from

pump faults!

Before each use, check the

equipment - especially the power

and extension cables, power plug

and float switch - for possible dam-

age. Risk of fatal electric shock!

Do not attempt to repair the pump

yourself! When repaired inexpert-

ly, there is a risk of liquid entering

the electrical parts of the pump.

Caution!

To avoid water damage, e.g.

flooded rooms, caused by

pump malfunctions or defects:

provide for suitable safety meas-

ures such as the following:

– alarm or

– collection tank with monitoring.

The manufacturer is not liable for

any damage caused by:

– improper use of the pump;

– failure to operate and store the

pump in a frost-free environ-

ment;

– unauthorised modification of the

pump (repairs to electrical

equipment may only be carried

out by qualified electricians!);

– use of spare parts which have

not been tested and approved

by the manufacturer; or

– use of unsuitable installation ma-

terials (fittings, connection lines

etc.).

Suitable installation materials:

– pressure-resistant (min. 10

bar)

– heat-resistant (min. 100°C).

4.1 Connecting the discharge line

Connecting thread details: see Technical

Specifications.

Note:

The optimum pump capacity is

achieved by selecting the largest dis-

charge line diameter.

4.2 Fixing the float switch cable

How the float switch cable is fixed to the

device depends on the particular device

model. If necessary, insert the float switch

cable in the cable clip of the handle.

The following illustration shows the fixed float

switch cable.

Caution!

The float switch cable may be dam-

aged. Never pull on the float switch

cable to change its position in the cable hold-

er!

4.3 Installation instructions

For the float switch to function properly, it

must be able to move freely.

Space requirement for DP 18-5 SA, DP 28-

10 S Inox: approx. 60 cm x 60 cm

Space requirement for SP 24-46 SG, SP

28-50 S Inox: approx. 70 cm x 70 cm.

Submerge the pump to no more than the

maximum immersion depth specified in the

technical data.

Install the pump such that the suction inlets

cannot be blocked by foreign objects. If

necessary place the pump on a support

surface.

Ensure sufficient upright stability.

Risk of electric shock from severed

cables!

Do not lift or transport the pump by the

cables or the discharge hose! The cables and

the discharge hose are not designed to with-

stand the tensile stress produced by the

weight of the pump.

4.4 Installing the pump

1. Submerge pump at a slight angle to avoid

creating an air cushion on the underside,

which would prevent priming. Once the

pump is submerged, it can be placed up-

right.

2. Lower pump to the bottom of the fluid con-

tainer.

eye to lower the pump.

The pump can also be operated when sus-

pended by a rope.

3. Before operating the pump again, ensure

that the pump line has been completely

emptied.

5.1 Switching ON and OFF

After you have connected the pump to the

mains, it will be switched on (9) and off (10)

automatically by the float switch. The point in

time at which switching occurs depends on

the water level.

Adjusting the ON and OFF times for the

pump

The position of the float switch cable in the

cable holder can be changed. The time inter-

val between pump switch-on and switch-off is

thereby adjusted:

– 'Short' float switch cable: ON and OFF po-

sitions are close together.

– 'Long' float switch cable: ON and OFF po-

sitions are far apart.

Caution!

Attach the float cable so that the OFF

position is at least 150 mm above the

base of the pump. The pump may run dry and

thereby be damaged.

Caution!

The float switch must always be able

to move up and down to allow the

pump to be switched on and off.

Caution!

The pump must not be activated more

than 20 times an hour, as this could

cause the motor to overheat.

Danger from faulty pump!

Take appropriate measures to ensure

that pump faults do not cause conse-

quential damage through flooding of rooms.

This must be ensured, for example, through

installation of an alarm system or a reserve

pump.

Danger!

Do not let the pump run against a

closed pump line.

5.2 Minimum water level

Continuous operation:

The pump must be completely submerged for

continuous operation to take place.

Restricted operation:

Only restricted operation is possible if the

pump is not fully submerged. Note the follow-

ing restrictions:

Risk of material damage from dry

running of pump!

The pump can overheat and become

damaged as the cooling function of the

pumped medium is reduced. The thermal

switch will react.

Suction operation for a short period only

(2-3 mins).

Monitor the pump's operation during suc-

tioning.

5.3 Pump capacity curve

The pump capacity curve indicates the flow

volume, depending on the delivery head.

Danger!

Unplug before maintaining or

cleaning.

Repair and maintenance work other than de-

scribed in this section should only be carried

out by qualified specialists.

6.1 Regular care

Regular care is required for the pump to func-

tion perfectly at all times. This also applies if

the pump is not switched on for extended pe-

riods of time (e.g. during operation in soaka-

ways).

Cleaning the pump

1. Rinse pump with clean water. Remove

persistent marks, e.g. algae deposits, with

brush and dishwashing liquid.

2. To rinse the inside of the pump:

dip pump into a container of clean water

and switch on briefly.

6.2 Pump storage

Caution!

Frost damages the pump and ac-

cessories as both always contain

water!

If there is a danger of frost, disassemble

pump and accessories and store in frost-

free conditions.

6.3 Device maintenance (only for

SP 28-50 S Inox, DP 28-10 S

Inox)

Caution!

Lubricant may leak from the pump if

the seals are defective, causing con-

tamination of the liquid being pumped.

Although the lubricant contained in the sub-

mersible pump for dirty water is non-toxic, it

can alter the water properties.

Danger!

Maintenance work must only ever

be carried out by qualified, special-

ly trained staff. After 4,000 to max. 8,000

hours of operation, and in any case at least

once a year, the quantity and quality of the oil

in the oil reservoir must be checked.

Danger!

Prior to all servicing:

Unplug.

7.1 Troubleshooting guide

Pump does not run:

No mains voltage.

– Check cables, plug, outlet and mains

fuse.

Mains voltage too low.

– Use an extension cable with sufficient

conductor diameter.

Motor overheated; motor protection relay

tripped.

– Eliminate the cause of overheating

(pump blocked by foreign objects?).

Float switch does not switch pump ON

when water level rises.

– Make sure the float switch can move

unrestrictedly. If, despite sufficient mo-

bility of the float switch, the pump does

not switch ON: send the pump to the

service centre in your country.

Motor hums, but does not start:

Pump blocked by foreign objects.

– Clean impeller.

Pump runs, but does not pump properly:

Delivery head too high.

– Observe max delivery head (see 'Tech-

nical Specifications').

Discharge hose kinked.

– Straighten discharge hose.

Discharge hose leaky.

– Seal discharge hose; tighten screw fit-

tings.

Pump runs very noisily:

Pump is sucking air.

– Ensure there is a sufficient water sup-

ply.

– Foreign objects are present (clean

pump).

– Manual mode has been set (shallow

water suctioning).

– Hold pump at an angle when submerg-

ing.

Pump runs continuously:

Float switch does not reach cut-out posi-

tion.

– Make sure the float switch can move

freely.

Danger!

To avoid risks, only have repairs car-

ried out by qualified electricians using

original Metabo spare parts.

to an environmentally friendly recycling ?fa-

3.1 Utilisation conforme aux

prescriptions

Les pompes submersibles sont conçues pour

le drainage sur les chantiers, dans le secteur

de l'agriculture, ainsi que dans le domaine

domestique et des jardins.

Les pompes SP 24-46 SG et SP 28-50 S Inox

sont par ailleurs conçues pour le pompage

d'eaux usées dans l'environnement industriel

et domestique.

Liquide refoulé autorisé

Eaux claires ou eaux usées

– La part de matières solides contenue dans

les eaux usées ne doit pas dépasser la

taille de grain maximale indiquée dans les

caractéristiques techniques.

– Le pH du liquide doit se situer entre 6 et 9.

Toute autre utilisation de cet appareil est

contraire aux prescriptions et est interdite.

– quand elle n'a pas lu ou compris la notice

Le raccordement ne doit s'effec-

tuer qu'à des prises de courant à

contact de sécurité, installées,

mises à la terre et contrôlées de

façon réglementaire. La tension

secteur et la protection électrique

doivent correspondre aux caracté-

ristiques techniques.

Soulever et transporter toujours

l'appareil par sa poignée, jamais

par le câble de raccordement ou le

tuyau de pression.

Les câbles de rallonge doivent

avoir une section suffisante. Les

tambours de câble doivent être

entièrement déroulés.

Ne pas plier, aplatir, arracher ni

écraser les câbles d'alimentation

et de rallonge. Les câbles doivent

être protégés contre les arêtes

vives, l'huile et la chaleur.

Poser le câble de rallonge de telle

sorte qu'il ne puisse pas parvenir

en contact avec le liquide à refou-

ler.

Débrancher la fiche secteur avant

d'effectuer des travaux sur l'appa-

reil.

Risque d'électrocution dû

à des défauts de

l'appareil !

Vérifiez avant toute mise en ser-

vice que l'appareil, et en particulier

le câble d'alimentation et la ral-

longe, le connecteur et l'interrup-

teur à flotteur, ne soient pas en-

dommagés. Danger de mort par

électrocution !

Ne réparez pas l'appareil vous-

même ! En cas de réparation in-

correcte, le liquide risque de péné-

trer dans les pièces électriques de

l'appareil.

Attention !

Pour éviter des dégâts causés par

l'eau, p. ex. l'inondation de locaux,

provoqués par des dérangements

ou des défauts de l'appareil : pré-

voir des mesures de sécurité ap-

propriées telles que

– dispositif d'alarme ou

– collecteur avec surveillance.

Le fabricant décline toute respon-

sabilité pour d'éventuels dom-

mages résultant des cas suivants :

– utilisation de l'appareil non

conforme aux prescriptions

– fonctionnement ou conservation

de l'appareil sans protection

contre le gel

– modifications arbitraires effec-

tuées sur l'appareil ; les répara-

tions sur des outils électriques

doivent uniquement être effec-

tuées par des électriciens !

– utilisation de pièces de re-

change qui n'ont pas été contrô-

lées et autorisées par le fabri-

cant

– utilisation d'un matériel d'instal-

lation inapproprié (robinetterie,

câbles de raccordement, etc.).

– résistant à la pression (au

moins 10 bar)

– résistant à la chaleur (au

moins 100 °C)

4.1 Raccordement de la conduite

Remarque

La meilleure capacité de refoulement

s'obtient en choisissant le plus grand

diamètre possible de la conduite sous pres-

sion.

4. Montage et installation

Attention!

L'interrupteur à flotteur doit toujours

pouvoir bouger librement vers le haut

et vers le bas, afin que l'appareil puisse dé-

marrer et s'arrêter.

Attention !

L'appareil ne doit pas se mettre en

marche plus de 20 fois par heure, afin

d'éviter une surchauffe du moteur.

Dangers dus à des dérangements

de l'appareil !

Excluez par des mesures adéquates

que l'appareil puisse subir des dommages

consécutifs dus à des inondations de locaux

en cas de dérangement. Ceci doit être garan-

ti par exemple en installant un système

d'alarme ou une pompe de réserve.

Dangers!

Ne laissez pas fonctionner la pompe

quand sa conduite est fermée.

5.2 Niveau d'eau minimal

Fonctionnement continu :

Pour le fonctionnement continu, l'appareil

doit être entièrement immergé.

Fonctionnement limité :

Si l'appareil n'est pas entièrement immergé,

alors seul un fonctionnement limité est pos-

sible. Tenir compte des restrictions sui-

vantes:

Dommages matériels de l'appareil

possibles s'il fonctionne à sec !

L'appareil peut surchauffer et être en-

dommagé, étant donné que la fonction de re-

froidissement du fluide de refoulement est ré-

duite. Le thermorupteur réagit.

Aspirer uniquement pendant une courte

durée (2-3 minutes).

Surveiller l'appareil durant l'aspiration.

5.3 Courbe caractéristique des

pompes

La courbe caractéristique des pompes in-

dique quels débits peuvent être atteints en

fonction de la hauteur de refoulement.

Débrancher la fiche secteur avant toute

opération d'entretien ou de nettoyage.

Les travaux de maintenance et de réparation

autres que ceux décrits dans ce chapitre ne

doivent être exécutés que par une personne

qualifiée et compétente.

6.1 Entretien régulier

Un entretien régulier est nécessaire pour que

l'appareil fonctionne toujours parfaitement.

Ceci est également valable lorsque l'appareil

n'est pas mis en marche pendant une pé-

riode prolongée (p. ex. lorsqu'il est utilisé

dans les puits drainants).

Nettoyage de l'appareil

1. Rincer la pompe à l'eau claire. Les encras-

sements tenaces, p. ex. les dépôts d'al-

gues, doivent être enlevés avec une

brosse et du produit à vaisselle.

2. Pour rincer l'intérieur de la pompe :

immerger la pompe dans un récipient

d'eau claire et la mettre un court instant en

marche.

6.2 Stockage de l'appareil

Attention !

Le gel détruit l'appareil et les ac-

cessoires, car ces derniers

contiennent toujours de l'eau !

Démonter l'appareil et les accessoires en

cas de risque de gel et les conserver à l'abri

du gel.

En cas de joint défectueux, du lubri-

fiant peut s'écouler de la pompe, ce

qui conduit à un encrassement du liquide à

refouler.

Le lubrifiant contenu dans la pompe submer-

sible pour eaux usées n'est pas toxique, mais

peut cependant modifier les propriétés de

l'eau.

Dangers!

Faire effectuer les travaux de

maintenance uniquement par un

personnel spécialisé et qualifié. Après 4

000 et jusqu'à max. 8 000 heures de service,

cependant au moins une fois par an, il

convient de contrôler la quantité et la qualité

de l'huile dans la chambre à huile.

Dangers!

Avant d'effectuer des manipula-

tions sur l'appareil :

Débrancher la fiche secteur.

7.1 Recherche de dérangements

La pompe ne marche pas :

Pas de tension secteur.

– Contrôler le câble, le connecteur, la

prise de courant et le fusible.

Tension d'alimentation trop faible.

– Utiliser un câble de rallonge dont la sec-

tion est suffisante.

Moteur surchauffé, le disjoncteur-protec-

teur a déclenché.

– Eliminer la cause de la surchauffe

(pompe bloquée par un corps

étranger ?).

L'interrupteur à flotteur ne met pas la

pompe en marche quand le niveau de

l'eau augmente.

– S'assurer que l'interrupteur à flotteur

dispose de suffisamment de place pour

bouger librement.

Si l'appareil ne démarre pas, même si

l'interrupteur à flotteur dispose de suffi-

samment de liberté de mouvement :

envoyer l'appareil à la filiale du service

après-vente de votre pays.

Le moteur ronronne et ne démarre pas :

La roue motrice est bloquée par des corps

étrangers.

– Nettoyer la roue motrice.

La pompe marche, mais ne refoule pas

correctement :

La hauteur de refoulement est trop impor-

tante.

– Respecter la hauteur de refoulement

maximale (voir "Caractéristiques tech-

niques").

La conduite sous pression est pliée.

– Poser la conduite sous pression de ma-

nière à ce qu'elle soit rectiligne.

La conduite sous pression n'est pas

étanche.

– Etancher la conduite sous pression,

serrer les raccords vissés.

La pompe est très bruyante :

La pompe aspire de l'air.

– S'assurer que le niveau d'eau est suffi-

sant.

– Corps étrangers (nettoyer l'appareil).

– Fonctionnement manuel réglé (aspira-

tion à plat).

– Maintenir la pompe inclinée lors de l'im-

mersion dans le liquide.

La pompe marche en permanence :

L'interrupteur à flotteur n'atteint pas la po-

sition inférieure.

– S'assurer que l'interrupteur à flotteur

peut bouger librement.

électriciens et en utilisant des pièces de re-

sonen met technische basiskennis in het

werken met apparaten zoals hier beschre-

ven. Als u geen ervaring met zulke appara-

ten hebt, dient u eerst de hulp van ervaren

transportschade vaststelt, dan moet u daar

3.1 Voorgeschreven gebruik van

het systeem

De dompelpompen zijn bestemd voor het

wegpompen van water op bouwplaatsen, in

de landbouw en op het gebied van huis en

tuin.

SP 24-46 SG en SP 28-50 S Inox zijn daarbij

ook geschikt voor het pompen van afvalwater

in de industriële en huishoudelijke omgeving.

Toegelaten pompvloeistof

Gezuiverd of verontreinigd water

– Het aandeel aan vaste stoffen in het afval-

water mag de bij de technische gegevens

aangegeven korrelgrootte niet overschrij-

den.

– De PH-waarde van de vloeistof dient tus-

sen 6 tot 9 te liggen.

Elke andere vorm van gebruik geldt als in

strijd met de voorschriften en is niet toegela-

ten.

Typische toepassingsgebieden

– ontwateren van bouwputten, vijvers, on-

dergelopen ruimtes en kelders. leegpom-

pen van reservoirs, bassins, zwembaden

of zinkputten.

– permanente circulatie (vijvers).

Verboden gebruik

bare, agressieve of gevaarlijke stoffen en

faecaliën.

Personen mogen het apparaat niet gebruiken

als ze

– over beperkte lichamelijke en/of mentale

vaardigheden beschikken,

– onvoldoende waarnemingsvermogen heb-

ben,

– onvoldoende ervaring en/of kennis met

resp. in de omgang met het apparaat heb-

ben of

– de handleiding niet gelezen en begrepen

hebben.

Er dient op gelet te worden dat kinderen niet

met het apparaat spelen.

Dit apparaat is niet bestemd voor gebruik

door personen met beperkte fysieke, sensori-

sche of geestelijke capaciteiten of die gebrek

aan ervaring en/of kennis hebben, tenzij zij

onder toezicht staan van een persoon die

verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid of van

hem of haar aanwijzingen hebben gekregen

over het gebruik van het apparaat.

Voor schade door foutief gebruik aanvaardt

de fabrikant geen verantwoordelijkheid.

Door onreglementair gebruik, veranderingen

aan het apparaat of door gebruik van onder-

delen die niet door de fabrikant gekeurd en

vrijgegeven zijn, kunnen niet te voorziene be-

schadigingen ontstaan!

3.2 Algemene veiligheidsvoor-

schriften

– Neem bij gebruik van dit appa-

raat de volgende veiligheids-

voorschriften in acht om gevaar

voor personen of materiële

schade te voorkomen.

– Laat nooit toe dat kinderen het

apparaat gebruiken.

– Kinderen dienen onder toezicht

te staan om ervoor te zorgen dat

zij niet met het apparaat spelen.

– Neem de wettelijke richtlijnen of

voorschriften ter preventie van

ongevallen voor de omgang met

dompelpompen in acht.

– Neem bij gebruik van het appa-

raat in zwembaden en tuinvijvers

en hun directe omgeving de be-

palingen volgens IEC 60364-7-

702 in acht.

Neem hiervoor ook eventuele

nationale voorschriften in acht.

– Voor de beveiliging van het ap-

paraat moet een automatische

differentieelschakelaar (RCD)

met een nominale foutstroom

van maximaal 30 mA worden

gebruikt.

Algemeen gevaar!

Gebruik het apparaat niet als

er personen in contact staan

met de pompvloeistof (bijv. in het

zwembad of de tuinvijver)!

De volgende resterende risico's

blijven bij het gebruik van dompel-

pompen in principe bestaan – ze

kunnen ook door veiligheidsvoor-

zieningen niet volledig worden ver-

meden.

Gevaar door omgevingsin-

vloeden!

Gebruik het apparaat niet in

ruimten waar explosiegevaar be-

staat of in de buurt van ontvlamba-

re vloeistoffen of gassen!

Gevaar door elektriciteit!

Raak de netstekker nooit aan

met natte handen! Trek de

stekker nooit aan het snoer uit het

stopcontact.

Het apparaat mag alleen worden

aangesloten aan veiligheidscon-

tactdozen die deskundig geïnstal-

leerd, geaard en getest zijn. Net-

spanning en zekering moeten

overeenstemmen met de Techni-

sche gegevens.

Het apparaat altijd optillen of

transporteren aan de handgreep,

nooit aan het netsnoer of de druk-

slang.

Verlengsnoeren moeten een vol-

doende grote aderdiameter heb-

ben. Kabeltrommels moeten volle-

dig afgerold zijn.

Netsnoer en verlengsnoer niet

knikken, kneuzen, meeslepen of

overrijden; tegen scherpe kanten,

olie en hitte beschermen.

Het verlengsnoer mag niet in con-

tact komen met de te verpompen

vloeistof.

Vóór werkzaamheden aan het toe-

stel, de stekker uit het stopcontact

trekken.

Gevaar voor elektrische

schok door gebreken aan

het apparaat!

Controleer het apparaat, vooral

net- en verlengsnoer, netstekker

en vlotterschakelaar, voor ieder

gebruik op eventuele beschadigin-

gen. Levensgevaar door elektri-

sche schok!

Voer nooit zelf reparaties uit aan

het apparaat! Bij ondeskundig uit-

gevoerde reparaties bestaat het ri-

sico dat vloeistof in het elektrische

gedeelte van het apparaat dringt.

Attentie!

Om waterschade te voorko-

men, bijv. overstroomde ka-

mers, veroorzaakt door storingen

of gebreken van het apparaat: Ge-

schikte veiligheidsmaatregelen

treffen, bijv.:

– alarminrichting of

– opvangbekken met bewaking

De fabrikant aanvaardt geen aan-

sprakelijkheid voor eventuele

schade die veroorzaakt wordt

door:

– Foutief gebruik van het appa-

raat.

– Gebruik of opslag van het appa-

raat zonder vorstbescherming.

– Het uitvoeren van eigenmachti-

ge veranderingen aan het appa-

raat. Reparaties aan elektrische

apparaten mogen alleen wor-

den uitgevoerd door een elektro-

monteur!

– Het gebruik van onderdelen die

niet door de fabrikant gecontro-

leerd en vrijgegeven zijn.

– Het gebruik van ongeschikt in-

stallatiemateriaal (armaturen,

aansluitleidingen, enz.).

Geschikt installatiemateriaal:

– drukbestendig (min. 10 bar)

– warmtebestendig (min. 100

°C)

4.1 Drukleiding aansluiten

Gegevens voor het aansluitdraad: zie Tech-

nische gegevens.

Aanwijzing

De beste pompcapaciteit wordt be-

reikt met de maximale drukleidingsdi-

ameter.

4.2 Kabel vlotterschakelaar

bevestigen

De wijze waarop de kabel van de vlotter-

schakelaar aan het apparaat wordt beves-

tigd, is afhankelijk van het model. Indien

nodig, de kabel van de vlotterschakelaar in

de kabelklem van de handgreep drukken.

De volgende afbeelding toont de bevestigde

vlotterschakelaarkabel.

4. Montage en plaatsing

Attentie!

De vlotterschakelaarkabel kan worden

beschadigd. Trek nooit aan de vlotter-

schakelaarkabel om de positie in de kabel-

houder te veranderen!

4.3 Opstelinstructies

Voor een probleemloze werking van de

vlotterschakelaar moet deze zich vrij kun-

nen bewegen!

Benodigde ruimte DP 18-5 SA, DP 28-10 S

Inox: ca. 60 cm x 60 cm

Benodigde ruimte SP 24-46 SG, SP 28-50

S Inox: ca. 70 cm x 70 cm.

De in de Technische gegevens vermelde

bedrijfsdiepte mag niet worden overschre-

den, het apparaat mag niet dieper in het

water worden gedompeld.

Plaats de pomp zo dat de aanzuigopenin-

gen niet geblokkeerd kunnen worden door

vreemde voorwerpen. Plaats de pomp

eventueel op een onderlaag.

Zorg ervoor dat de pomp stabiel staat.

Gevaar voor elektrische schokken

door gebroken kabels!

Apparaat niet optillen of transporteren

aan de kabels of de drukslang! De kabels en

de drukslang zijn niet geschikt voor de trek-

belasting door het gewicht van het apparaat.

4.4 Apparaat plaatsen

1. Pomp lichtjes schuin in de te pompen

vloeistof dompelen, zodat zich aan de on-

derkant geen luchtkussen vormt. Hierdoor

zou het aanzuigen worden verhinderd. Zo-

dra de pomp is ondergedompeld, kan hij

weer worden opgericht.

2. Laat de pomp op de bodem van het vloei-

stofreservoir zakken.

Bevestig een voldoende sterk touw aan

het ophangoog om de pomp te laten zak-

ken.

De pomp kan ook hangend aan een touw

worden gebruikt.

3. Voor u de pomp opnieuw in gebruik neemt,

moet u erop letten dat de pompleiding vol-

ledig leeg is.

5.1 In- en uitschakelen

Nadat u het apparaat aangesloten hebt op

het stroomnet, wordt het door de vlotterscha-

kelaar automatisch in- (9) en uitgeschakeld

(10). Het schakeltijdstip is afhankelijk van het

waterpeil.

In- en uitschakeltijdstip van de pomp ver-

stellen

De positie van de vlotterschakelaarkabel in

de kabelhouder kan veranderd worden. Hier-

door wordt de afstand tussen in- en uitscha-

kelpunt van de pomp versteld::

– vlotterschakelaar bij de "korte kabel": in-

en uitschakelpunt liggen dicht bijeen.

– vlotterschakelaar bij de "lange kabel": in-

en uitschakelpunt liggen ver uiteen.

Attentie!

Bevestig de vlotterkabel zo, dat het

uitschakelpunt min. 150 mm boven de

bodem van de pomp ligt. Het apparaat kan

anders drooglopen en daardoor beschadigd

raken.

Attentie!

De vlotterschakelaar moet naar boven

en onder altijd beweegbaar blijven,

zodat het apparaat in- en uitgeschakeld kan

worden.

Attentie!

Het apparaat mag niet vaker dan 20

keer per uur inschakelen, zodat de

motor niet oververhit raakt.

5. Bediening

OFF

Gevaar door storingen aan

het apparaat!

Sluit met behulp van geschikte maat-

regelen uit dat bij storingen aan het apparaat

gevolgschade kan ontstaan door overstro-

ming van kamers. Dit kan bijvoorbeeld wor-

den gedaan door een alarminstallatie of re-

servepomp te gebruiken.

Gevaar!

Laat de pomp niet met een gesloten

pompleiding lopen.

5.2 Minimale waterstand

Continubedrijf:

Voor continubedrijf moet het apparaat geheel

ondergedompeld zijn.

Beperkte bediening:

Is het apparaat niet geheel ondergedompeld,

dan is alleen een beperkt gebruik mogelijk.

Neem de volgende beperkingen in acht:

Materiële schade door drooglopen

van het apparaat mogelijk!

Het apparaat kan oververhit en be-

schadigd raken omdat de koelfunctie van het

pompmedium beperkt is. De thermoschake-

laar reageert.

Alleen gedurende korte tijd (2-3 min) afzui-

gen.

Houdt toezicht op het apparaat tijdens het

afzuigen.

5.3 Pompkarakteristiek

De pompkarakteristiek geeft het slagvolume

aan dat afhankelijk van de opvoerhoogte kan

worden bereikt.

Gevaar!

Voor alle onderhouds- en reini-

gingswerkzaamheden de stekker

uit het stopcontact nemen.

Andere dan de in dit hoofdstuk beschreven

onderhouds- of reparatiewerkzaamheden

mogen uitsluitend door geschoold personeel

worden uitgevoerd.

6.1 Regelmatig onderhoud

Om ervoor te zorgen dat het apparaat altijd

storingsvrij werkt, is regelmatig onderhoud

noodzakelijk. Dit geldt ook als het apparaat

gedurende langere tijd niet wordt ingescha-

keld (bijv. bij gebruik in zinkputten).

Apparaat reinigen

1. Spoel de pomp met schoon water. Hard-

nekkige verontreinigingen, bijv. algen, ver-

wijdert u met een borstel en reinigingsmid-

del.

2. Binnenkant van de pomp spoelen:

pomp onderdompelen in zuiver water en

even inschakelen.

6.2 Apparaat bewaren

Attentie!

Als er kans op vorst bestaat, moet het ap-

paraat samen met de toebehoren worden

opgeborgen.

6.3 Onderhoud plegen aan het

apparaat (alleen bij SP 28-50

S Inox, DP 28-10 S Inox)

Attentie!

Bij een defecte afdichting kan smeer-

middel uit de pomp vrijkomen, waar-

door de te verpompen vloeistof verontreinigd

raakt.

Het smeermiddel van de afvalwater-dompel-

pomp is niet giftig, maar kan de eigenschap-

pen van het water veranderen.

Gevaar!

Onderhoudswerkzaamheden al-

leen laten uitvoeren door gekwalifi-

6. Verzorging van het apparaat,

onderhoud

tot max. 8000 bedrijfsuren, maar minstens

eenmaal per jaar, moet de hoeveelheid en

kwaliteit van de olie in de oliekamer worden

gecontroleerd.

Gevaar!

Alvorens u met werkzaamheden

aan het apparaat begint:

de stekker uit het stopcontact nemen.

7.1 Foutopsporing

Pomp loopt niet:

Er is geen netspanning.

– Controleer het snoer, de stekker, het

stopcontact en de zekering.

De netspanning is te laag.

– Gebruik een verlengsnoer met voldoen-

de grote aderdiameter.

Motor oververhit, motorbeveiliging geacti-

veerd.

– Verwijder de oorzaak van de oververhit-

ting (pomp geblokkeerd door vreemd

voorwerp?).

De vlotterschakelaar schakelt de pomp bij

stijgend waterpeil niet in.

– Controleer of de vlotterschakelaar vol-

doende bewegingsvrijheid heeft.

Als het apparaat ondanks voldoende

bewegingsvrijheid van de vlotterscha-

kelaar niet wordt ingeschakeld:

apparaat opsturen naar de servicevesti-

ging in uw land.

Motor bromt, pomp start niet:

Loopwiel geblokkeerd door vreemd

voorwerp.

– Loopwiel reinigen.

Pomp loopt maar pompt niet goed:

Pompopvoerhoogte te groot.

– Neem de maximale pompopvoerhoogte

in acht (zie Technische gegevens).

Drukleiding geknikt.

– Leg de drukleiding recht.

Drukleiding lek.

– Dicht de drukleiding af, trek de schroe-

ven van de schroefklemmen aan.

Pomp is zeer luid:

Pomp zuigt lucht aan.

– Controleer of de watervoorraad vol-

doende groot is.

– Vreemd voorwerp (apparaat reinigen).

– Handmatige bediening ingesteld (plat

afzuigen).

– Houd de pomp schuin terwijl u hem in

de vloeistof dompelt.

Pomp loopt permanent:

De vlotterschakelaar bereikt de onderste

positie niet.

– Controleer of de vlotterschakelaar vol-

doende bewegingsvrijheid heeft.

Gevaar!

Laat, om gevaren te voorkomen, repa-

raties alleen uitvoeren door geschool-

de monteurs met originele Metabo-onderde-

len!

Neem voor elektrisch gereedschap van Me-

tabo dat gerepareerd dient te worden contact

op met uw Metabo-vertegenwoordiging. Zie

Neem de nationale voorschriften in acht voor

een milieuvriendelijke verwijdering en voor

de recycling van afgedankte machines, ver-

3.1 Aplicación de acuerdo a la

finalidad

Las bombas sumergibles han sido previstas

como drenaje para usarlas en construccio-

nes, en la agricultura y en la casa y el jardín.

Adicionalmente, los modelos SP 24-46 SG y

SP 28-50 S Inox han sido desarrollados para

bombear aguas servidas en el entorno indus-

trial o casero.

Líquidos permitidos para el transporte

Aguas claras o sucias

– La parte de sustancias sólidas en aguas

sucias no debe exceder el tamaño de gra-

no indicado en los datos técnicos.

– El valor pH del líquido debe estar entre 6 y
