3. General Guidelines
Refer to the Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty on the last pages of this manual.
• Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.
• Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.
• All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons.
• Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the
warranty.
• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and
the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
• A qualified technician should service this device.
• Note that damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.
4. Features

5. Assembly
Refer to the illustration on page 2 of this manual.
• Place a foot [1] on either side of the bottom of the heater and fix using the included screws.
6. Use
Refer to the illustration on page 2 of this manual.
• Choose a suitable location taking into account the safety instructions above.
• Turn the thermostat [3] fully counter clockwise and insert the plug [2] into a suitable, grounded mains
socket.
• Turn on the heater elements by means of the rocker switches [4] as desired. Turn the thermostat [3]
clockwise. When the desired room temperature has been reached, the pilot lights [5] on the switches [4]
will go out. The heater will now keep the room at set temperature by switching on and off automatically.
REMARK: There may be a particular smell when the heater is turned on after a long period of time. This is
perfectly normal.
7. Cleaning and Storage
• Unplug the heater and let it cool down before cleaning.
• Clean the housing with a slightly damp cloth. Wipe off with a soft cloth.
• Do not use detergents or abrasive cleaning products.
• Protect the heater from dust and store in a clean and dry place.
