BELANGRIJKE VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN
1. Raadpleeg uw huisarts voordat u met dit of
enig ander oefenprogramma begint. Dit is
vooral belangrijk voor personen ouder dan
35 jaar of personen met bestaande
gezondheidsproblemen.
2. Gebruik de elliptische trainer alleen zoals
beschreven in deze handleiding.
3. Het is de verantwoordelijkheid van de
eigenaar om zich ervan te vergewissen dat
allen die de elliptische trainer gebruiken
voldoende op de hoogte zijn van alle
voorzorgsmaatregelen.
4. De elliptische trainer is alleen voor huiselijk
gebruik bedoeld. Gebruik de elliptische
trainer niet commercieel, voor verhuur of in
een instelling.
5. Gebruik de elliptische trainer enkel
binnenshuis en uit de buurt van vocht en
stof. Plaats de elliptische trainer niet in een
garage, op een gedekt terras, of bij water.
6. Plaats de elliptische trainer op een vlakke
ondergrond met minstens 0,9 m ruimte voor
en achter de elliptische trainer en 0,6 m
ruimte aan iedere kant. Leg een matje onder
de elliptische trainer om uw vloer of de
vloerbedekking te beschermen.
7. Controleer en draai alle onderdelen
regelmatig vast. Vervang versleten
onderdelen meteen.
8. Houd kinderen jonger dan 12 jaar en
huisdieren altijd uit de buurt van de
elliptische trainer.
9. De elliptische trainer is niet geschikt voor
gebruik door personen die meer dan 136 kilo
wegen.
10. Draag geschikte kleding wanneer u de
elliptische trainer gebruikt; draag geen losse
kleding die in de elliptische trainer verstrikt
kunnen raken. Draag altijd gymschoenen om
uw voeten tijdens het trainen te beschermen.
11. Houd de hendels of de armhendels vast bij
het opstappen, afstappen of gebruik van de
elliptische trainer.
12. De polssensor is geen medisch instrument.
Diverse factoren kunnen invloed hebben op
de nauwkeurigheid van de hartslagmetingen.
De polssensor dient slechts om een
algemene hartslag te meten, als hulpmiddel
bij uw workouts.
13. De elliptische trainer heeft geen vliegwiel; de
pedalen blijven in beweging totdat het
vliegwiel tot stilstand komt. Stop op een
gecontrolleerde manier met stappen.
14. Houd uw rug recht terwijl u de elliptische
trainer gebruikt, en buig uw rug niet.
15. Te veel oefenen doen kan leiden tot ernstig
letsel of tot de dood. Als u pijn voelt of
duizelig wordt tijdens het oefenen, dient u
onmiddellijk te stoppen en af te koelen.
