This manual is written for system integrators, IT professionals, and

knowledgeable end users. It provides information for the installation and use of the

X10DGO(-T/-SXM) motherboard.

About This Motherboard

T h e S u p e r m i c r o X 1 0 D G O ( - T / - S X M ) m o t h e r b o a r d s u p p o r t s

dual Intel® Xeon EP E5-2600 v3/v4 (Socket R3) processors, which balance high

performance with improved power eciency. The processor oers point-to-point

connections with a transfer speed of up to 9.6GT/s and TDP (Thermal Design

Power) of 160W, featuring new technologies such as Intel® Turbo Technology and

vPro Technology for optimized security, exible virtualization, and smarter resource

management. Built with the PCH C612, the X10DGO(-T/-SXM) includes the Intel®

Intelligent Power Node Manager, Management Engine (ME), and Digital Media

Interface (DMI). Tthe X10DGO(-T/-SXM) has 24 DIMM slots with up to 1536GB of

RDIMM (Registered) and LRDIMM (Load Reduced) ECC/Non-ECC DDR4 memory

at 2400MT/s, providing higher compute performance and secure encryption. Please

Manual Organization

Chapter 1 describes the features, specications and performance of the mother-

board. It also provides detailed information about the Intel® PCH C612 chipset.

Chapter 2 provides hardware installation instructions. Read this chapter when in-

stalling the processor, memory modules and other hardware components into the

system. If you encounter any problems, see , which describes troubleChapter 3 -

shooting procedures for video, memory, and system setup stored in the CMOS.

Chapter 4 includes an introduction to BIOS, and provides detailed information on

running the CMOS setup utility.

Appendix A provides BIOS error beep codes.

Appendix B lists software Installation Instructions.

Appendix C contains UEFI BIOS recovery instructions.
