Getting Started
Battery Installation
Your UH45 Series radio uses 3 AAA batteries for power.
Use only good quality batteries for maximum life and range.
Note: Batteries are not supplied.
BATTERY WARNING
To prevent the batteries from running down, remove them from
the radio if the UH45 Series will not be used for long periods.
The unit can also be powered with optional 3 AAA rechargeable
batteries (NiMH recommended).

NEW
To avoid damage to the unit do not mix old and new batteries.
1. Make sure your radio is switched off.
2. Remove the battery cover.
3. Insert 3 AAA batteries according to the polarity
symbols inside the battery compartment.
4. Replace the battery cover.
