READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
The Airocide® unit should be used only as recommended in this manual.
Failure to follow recommendations can result in serious injury.
• Keep children away from the unit and supervise them when they are near it.
• Do not drop or insert objects into any openings in the unit.
• Do not disassemble the unit, except for removal of the fascia to replace the Reaction Chambers.
The Airocide unit, like all electrical appliances, presents the risk of fire,
electric shock, and the potential for serious injury or death if improperly
used. Always follow these precautions:
• Plug the unit directly into a 120V AC electrical outlet. DO NOT use extension cords or adapter plugs.
• This unit has a three prong, grounded plug. Use only in a compatible outlet that is installed and
grounded in accordance with electrical codes and ordinances. DO NOT alter the plug or force
it into any outlet.
• DO NOT use the unit if the cord or plug are damaged.
• Keep the cord out of heavy trac areas. To avoid re hazard, DO NOT put the cord under rugs,
furniture or appliances, near heat registers, radiators, stoves or heaters.
• DO NOT run the cord under carpeting. DO NOT cover the cord with throw rugs, runners, or
similar coverings. DO NOT route the cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from
trac areas where it might present a tripping hazard.
• DO NOT immerse the unit in water or other liquids or pour water or liquids on the unit.
• DO NOT use the unit with any solid-state speed control devices, such as a dimmer switch, that
controls power to the unit.
• DO NOT operate the unit where combustible gases or vapors are present.
