Getting started with your Echo Spot

Interacting with your Echo Spot

• To power your Echo Spot on and oﬀ, pres s and hold the

Mic/Camera button.

• A short p res s of the Mic/Camera button will turn oﬀ the

mic roph ones and ca mera, and the LED will turn red.

• When idl e, your Echo Spot wil l automatically turn on when you

say "Alex a".

• To access Setti ngs, swipe down from t he top of the screen.

• See the Things to Try card t o help you get star ted.

Alexa App

Downlo ad the Alex a App from the app store. The ap p helps you get

more out of your Echo Spot. It's wh ere you see an overvie w of your

requests and manage your contact s, lists, news , music and settings . You

can als o start the set up process from your com pute r brow ser.

Follow th e on-screen ins truct ions to s et up your Echo Spot. During

setup, you wil l connect yo ur Echo Spot to the Intern et, so you ca n access

Amazon s ervices. Please ma ke sure you have your Wi-Fi pas sword.

1. Plug in your Echo Spot

Plug the power ad aptor into yo ur Echo Spot and then into an e lec trical

socket . You must use the items included in the ori ginal Echo Spot

packag e for optimal performance. In about a mi nute, the displa y will

turn on and Alex a will greet you.
