SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Risk of injury
uWe would like to point out that excessively high
volumes and long liening times may cause hearing
damage. Hearing defects always conitute an
irreversible impairment of hearing ability. If you suer
from tinnitus, do not use headphones or reduce the
volume.
uAccording to regulations to protect employees
against damages caused by noise and vibrations,
please follow these instructions:
85 dB SPL for max. 8 hours
88 dB SPL for max. 4 hours
91 dB SPL for max. 2 hours
94 dB SPL for max. 1 hour
97 dB SPL for max. 30 minutes
100 dB SPL for max. 15 minutes
uWhen connecting the headphones, please ensure
that the volume is turned down to minimum. Adjust
the volume after putting on the headphones.
Danger to life
uHeadphones draically reduce perception of
external sounds. Using headphones in road traic
can be potentially dangerous. The user’s hearing
mu not be impaired to the extent that it causes
road safety risks. Please also make sure that you do
not use the headphones in traic, especially within
an area of potentially dangerous machines and
tools.
uFuhermore, avoid using headphones in situations
where hearing mu not be aected, especially
when crossing a railway crossing or at a
conruction site.

uDo not use the product for any application which is
not described in this product information.
ubeyerdynamic is not liable for improper use of the
product and its accessories.
APPLICATION
With the closed DT 900 PRO X, beyerdynamic presents
a pair of circumaural udio headphones that are
suitable for professional monitoring, mixing and
maering in the udio as well as on the road. This is
enabled by the STELLAR.45 driver, developed in
Heilbronn - Germany, which reproduces the be udio-
quality sound loudly and poweully on all playback
devices. Whether on an inteace, laptop, tablet or
mobile phone, there are no limits to creativity.
The detachable mini-XLR cable can be replaced by
cables of dierent lengths and connection options.
The rugged spring eel headband conruction gives
the over-ear headphones a secure fit and ensures
durability. The supple velour ear pads are so to touch,
as you would expect, and ensure comfoable air
circulation. Thanks to so memory foam, the headband
adapts ergonomically to the shape of the head and,
like the ear pads, it can be replaced when necessary.
Robu and high-quality materials complete these
headphones, which are handmade in Germany.
MAINTENANCE
uAs with any equipment which will be used in close
proximity to sensitive areas of the body, it is essential
that the ear pads and headband are kept clean.
Use a damp cloth for cleaning using warm water
only taking care not to allow any water drops into
the ear cups or transducers.
uIf necessary, you can carefully remove the ear pads
and headband pad and clean them with mild soapy
water.
uWARNING: Never use any solvent cleaning agents!
Furthermore, the pads must be completely dry
before they are attached to the headphone again.
uNever use a for cleaning the head-vacuum cleaner
phones, as this may cause irreparable damage.
uShould it become necessary to replace the ear pads
or the headband pad, refer to “Replacement Parts
and Accessories”. You can easily do this yourself.
u If other components have to be replaced, please
contact your local beyerdynamic representative.
