Safety
• If themains lead is damaged it must only be replaced by aqualified tradesman.
• Never expose theheat gun to rain or moisture.
• Never point theheat gun towards people or animals.
• Never block thenozzle by covering it or holding it too close to theobject being heated.
• Harmful or toxic gases can be produced when heating paint or varnish.
Make sure your work area is well-ventilated.
• Theproduct may be used by children of 8 years and above and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of experience and knowledge provided they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of theproduct in asafe way and
understand thehazards involved.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children but only under adult supervision.
Warning – Fire hazard!
Theheat gun can become afire risk if used improperly. Please take thefollowing into consideration:
• Be careful when using theheat gun in thevicinity of inflammable materials.
• Do not hold theheat gun over thesame area for along time.
• Never use theheat gun in theproximity of explosive surroundings.
• Heat can spread and ignite flammable materials which are not within sight.
• Stand theheat gun upright after use and let it cool sufficiently before putting it away for
storage.
• Never leave theheat gun unattended when it is switched on.
• Never use theheat gun for drying clothes or as ahair dryer.
• Thehigh temperatures produced by theheat gun can ignite flammable or explosive materials.
