Safety
• Before connecting thehair dryer to themains, make sure that you have selected
thecorrect setting on thehair dryer for thepower supply you areusing.
• Keep thehair dryer away from water. Neveruse thehair dryer in thebath or close
to theshower orsink.
• Always switch thehair dryer off if you put itdown.
• Keep thehair dryer out of children’sreach.
• Never cover theair intake.
• Do not expose thehair dryer to moisture, knocks orblows.
• Do not use thehair dryer if thepower lead or plug is damaged. Donot use
theproduct if you have dropped it on thefloor, left it outdoors or dropped it inwater.
• Do not open thecasing. Certain uninsulated components within thecasing carry
dangerous currents and if touched may give you anelectric shock.
• Do not pull or carry thehair dryer by themains lead. Donot use thelead as ahandle and
do not let it fasten in door jambs. Donot pull thelead around sharp corners andedges.
• Always disconnect theplug from thewall socket before cleaning thehair dryer or
when it is not to be used for alongtime.
• The hair dryer should not be taken apart or changed.
• The hair dryer should only be repaired by qualified service personnel.
• This hair dryer may be used by children aged 8 or over provided they have been
instructed in the safe use of the product and that they understand the hazards and
risks involved. Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children aged 8 or
over, but only under adult supervision.
• Keep the hair dryer and its mains lead out of the reach of children under the age of 8.
• The hair dryer may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capability, lack of experience or knowledge which could jeopardise their safety,
provided they have been instructed in the safe use of the product and understand
the hazards involved. Never let children play with the hair dryer.
• When using thedryer in thebathroom, disconnect it from thepower point after
use. Proximity to water is hazardous even when thedryer is turned off.
• Connect thehair dryer to themains via anRCD with atripping current of
max30mA. ChecktheRCD before eachuse.
• Do not use thehair dryer near thebath, shower, sink or containers
ofwater.
