Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and then save

NOTE:

• The (relative) humidity of air is usually expressed as apercentage and is ameasure

of how much water theair contains at acertain temperature.

• Humidity is low during thewinter/spring. If theappliance does not extract water

from theair it might be because there is not enough humidity for theappliance

to operate.

• The appliance can extract alot of water or avery little water, depending on

thehumidity of theroom.

• If thehumidity of theroom is 40 % and theappliance is set to maintain ahumidity

level of 60 %, theappliance will not remove any moisture (the fan will run but not

thecompressor).

• Contains ﬂuorinated greenhouse gases covered by the Kyoto Protocol.

Safety

• The dehumidiﬁer must only be connected to a220–240 V, 50 Hz earthed outlet

ﬁtted with anRCD.

• The dehumidiﬁer may be used by children of 8 years and above and by persons

with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of experience and

knowledge provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning

use of theappliance in asafe way and understand thehazards involved.

• Never let children play with thedehumidiﬁer.

• Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children but only under

adult supervision.

• The dehumidiﬁer must always stand upright.

• Never sit, cover or place foreign objects on thedehumidiﬁer.

• Make sure that therubber plug in thedrain hose hole is securely in place before

turning thedehumidiﬁer on if it is not to be used for continuous dehumidiﬁcation.

• The dehumidiﬁer must stand upright for at least 1 hour before it is used for theﬁrst

time. The same applies after thethe dehumidiﬁer has been moved or cleaned, etc.

• Make sure that theair ﬁlter is clean and correctly ﬁtted before turning

thedehumidiﬁer on.

• Never use thedehumidiﬁer if themains lead, plug or any other part is damaged or

does not work properly.
