The exnguishing equipment should be of the convenonal kind: carbon dioxide, foam, powder and water spray.
Unsuitable exnguishing media
None in parcular
Specic hazards arising from the chemical
HAZARDS CAUSED BY EXPOSURE IN THE EVENT OF FIRE
Do not breathe combuson products.
Special protecve equipment and precauons for reghters
GENERAL INFORMATION
Use jets of water to cool the containers to prevent product decomposion and the development of substances potenally hazardous for health. Always wear
full re prevenon gear. Collect exnguishing water to prevent it from draining into the sewer system. Dispose of contaminated water used for exncon and
the remains of the re according to applicable regulaons.
SPECIAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FOR FIRE-FIGHTERS
Normal reghng clothing i.e., re kit, gloves and boots in combinaon with self-contained open circuit posive pressure compressed air breathing
apparatus.
SECTION 6 - ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Personal precauons, protecve equipment and emergency procedures
Block the leakage if there is no hazard.
Wear suitable protecve equipment (including personal protecve equipment referred to under Secon 8 of the safety data sheet) to prevent any
contaminaon of skin, eyes and personal clothing. These indicaons apply for both processing sta and those involved in emergency procedures.
Environmental precauons
The product must not penetrate into the sewer system or come into contact with surface water or ground water.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up
Collect the leaked product into a suitable container. Evaluate the compability of the container to be used, by checking secon 10. Absorb the remainder
with inert absorbent material.
Make sure the leakage site is well aired. Contaminated material should be disposed of in compliance with the provisions set forth in point 13.
SECTION 7 - HANDLING AND STORAGE
Precauons for safe handling
Before handling the product, consult all the other secons of this material safety data sheet. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not inhale the vapors.
Avoid leakage of the product into the environment. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during use. Remove any contaminated clothes and personal protecve
equipment before entering places in which people eat.
Condions for safe storage, including any incompabilies
Store only in the original container. Store the containers sealed, in a well-venlated place, away from direct sunlight. Keep containers away from any
incompable materials, see secon 10 for details.
SECTION 8 - EXPOSURE CONTROLS AND PERSONAL PROTECTION
Exposure controls
As the use of adequate technical equipment must always take priority over personal protecve equipment, make sure that the workplace is well aired
through eecve local aspiraon. Personal protecve equipment must comply with current regulaons.

ECODECALK
Descaler for coffee machines
Protect hands with category III work gloves (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.138).
The following should be considered when choosing work glove material: compability, degradaon, failure me and permeability.
The work gloves' resistance to chemical agents should be checked before use, as it can be unpredictable. The gloves' wear me depends on the duraon and
type of use.
SKIN PROTECTION
Wear category II professional long-sleeved overalls and safety footwear. Wash body with soap and water aer removing protecve clothing.
EYE PROTECTION
Wear airght protecve goggles (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.133).
Provide an eye wash system and emergency shower
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION
If the threshold value (e.g. TLV-TWA) is exceeded for the substance or one of the substances present in the product, wear a mask with a NIOSH cered lter,
whose class must be chosen according to the limit of use concentraon (NIOSH 42 CFR 84, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134). In the presence of gases or vapours of
various kinds and/or gases or vapours containing parculate (aerosol sprays, fumes, mists, etc.) combined lters are required.
Respiratory protecon devices must be used if the technical measures adopted are not suitable for restricng the worker's exposure to the threshold values
considered. The protecon provided by masks is in any case limited.
If the substance considered is odourless or its olfactory threshold is higher than the corresponding TLV-TWA and in the case of an emergency, wear open-
circuit compressed air breathing apparatus or external air-intake breathing apparatus. For a correct choice of respiratory protecon device, see standard
NIOSH 42 CFR 84, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134.
