IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions in this booklet carefully.
2. Do not operate the appliance with damaged power cord or plug, after the appliance
malfunctions, or if it was dropped or damaged in any manner. Kindly return the appliance to
the nearest authorized dealer or after-sales service centre for examinations, repairs,
electrical or mechanical adjustments.
3. Always operate the product from a power source of the same voltage, frequency and rating
as indicated on the product identication marking.
4. Do not unplug by pulling the power cord. To unplug, grasp the plug rmly.
5. Do not handle the plug or any other parts of the appliance with wet hands.
6. not leave the appliance unattended while operating. Ensure the appliance is powered off Do
before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operations.
7. Never use methylated spirits or other solvents to clean the appliance.
8. Do not put any objects into the hose inlet. Keep it free from dust, lint, hair and anything that
may reduce airow.

13. Hold plug when rewinding onto cord reel. Do not allow the plug to whip freely when
rewinding.
14. Unplug the appliance before connecting the hose.
15. Do not use without lter in place.
16. Never use any accessories or parts other than ELBA’s.
17. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is operating near children or inrm
persons. Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
18. This appliance is for domestic use only and not for commercial applications.
19. Do not use this vacuum cleaner outdoor.
20. Do not operate it for purposes other than its intended use.
21. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the usage of this appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
22. Save these instructions for future reference.

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES
If the oor brush, nozzle or the hose are blocked, disconnect the blocked item(s) immediately.

1. Do not operate the appliance near heat generators like radiators, cigarette butts etc.
2. Do not run the appliance over the main wire or pull the main wire over sharp edges.
3. Do not use the appliance to suck anything that is burning or smoking, such as burning
cigarette butts, lighted matches or hot ashes.
4. Do not use the appliance to suck liquids.
5. Before operating the appliance, ensure that the air intake or outlet vent is not obstructed by
objects on the oor to prevent the lter from being blocked or damaged.
6. Do not use the appliance to suck sharp objects of any size, such as needles, pins etc to
prevent the lter from being damaged.
