• Wait until the oil or fat reaches the set

temperature.

The green indicator lamp “HEAT” will

then go out. To keep the oil or fat at this

temperature, the heating element will

repeatedly switch on and o, and the

indicator lamp will also go on and o.

• Open the lid.

• Place the food to be deep-fried in the frying

basket.

For the best result, we recommend placing

dry food in the basket. Wet food may cause

oil splatters.

• Slowly lower the frying basket into the

appliance. Make sure the handle ts into

the handle recess.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• Unplug the appliance when cleaning.

• Clean the out side of the fryer and the lip

with a damp cloth.

• Detach the handle from the basket, wash

the basket with hot water or washing-up

liquid, rinse and dry carefully.

• Never immerse the appliance in water to

wash it.

CAUTION

• If you want to clean or replacing the lter,

detach the lter from the top lid. After

cleaning or replacing the lter, remount it

back.

• Whatever the recipe used, the food must

be perfectly dry, this will avoid overowing

and make the oil or fat last longer.

• Never inject the water into bottom lid;

Never connect the power when fryer body

is empty.

• If there is any breakdown or damage, the

appliance must be repaired by specialized

people. Non-specialized people are

not permitted to dismantle or repair the

appliance.

• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or

counter, or touch hot surfaces.

CAUTION

• Please read this instructions before use.

• Ensure that the voltage on the specication

plate is the same as in the mains supply at

your home.

• Ensure that the oil is within the maximum

and minimum marks in the compartment

when in use.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not leave unattended when unit is

switched on.

• A thermal device automatically cuts o

power supply in case of a fault.

• Always allow the oil to cool of before

moving the fryer, as hot oil can cause

serious burns.

• Do not use if the mains cord or plug is

damaged, it must be replaced by an

qualied service agents as special tools

and parts are required to repair the unit.

• Never plug the fryer before adding oil or

fat, if you do the thermal safety device

will operate and stop the appliance from

working

• Do not allow the cord to hang over the

counter top. Do not use an extension lead

with the fryer.

• This appliance is not intended for use by

persons (including children) with reduced

physical, sensory or mental capabilities,

or lack of experience and knowledge,

unless they have been given supervision or

instruction concerning use of the appliance

by a person responsible for their safety.

• Children should be supervised to ensure

that they do not play with the appliance.

OPERATION

You can use this deep fryer to fry small

quantities of snacks, such as spring rolls,

chicken wings and fries. Ideal for preparing a

savoury snack.

USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

• Remove all packaging from the appliance.

• Clean the appliance, see the section

“Cleaning and maintenance”.

• Attach the handle to the frying basket.

Squeeze both sides of the handle together

to do this. The end of the handle will then t

into the basket's handle holder. Now slowly

release the handle and make sure that

both ends lock into the eyes and clamps

of the basket (see also the picture in the

description of the parts).

• When the appliance is switched on and

heats up for the rst time, a small amount

of smoke may be released and you may

detect a certain smell. This is normal and

will disappear after a few minutes.

• Fill the appliance with oil or liquid frying fat.

See “Using the appliance”.

USING THE APPLIANCE

Filling the appliance with oil or fat

• Place the appliance on a at, stable

surface.

• Open the lid.

• Use the handle to remove the frying basket

from the appliance.

• Fill the appliance with the required amount

of oil or liquid fat. Make sure that the

appliance is lled to at least the minimum

level and no higher than the maximum level

indicated on the inside of the appliance.

Use oils or fats that are resistant to

high temperatures. For best results, we

recommend never mixing dierent types of

oil.

• Close the lid.

DEEP FRYING

• Put the plug into the wall power socket.

• Switch on the appliance using the On/O

switch. The red “POWER” indicator lamp

will illuminate.

• Turn the temperature control dial to the

desired temperature. The green “HEAT”

indicator lamp will illuminate.
