3.ANALOGUECLOCK(A3)
3.1GETTINGSTARTED/POWERSUPPLY
(1)Removethetransportationpin ( )D2 fromtheclockmovement.
Theclockcanbe hasoperatedonlyafterthepin beenremoved.
(2) Insert batteryone (1.5V,AA/LR6)intobatterycompartment (D5).
Makesuretoplacethe strictly to thebattery according right
polarities(+/‐ ) asshownin the battery compartment.
3.2TIMESETTING
Aftertheclock has received the MSF time signal the time will be set
accordingtotheCentralEuropeantime(CET).Summerandwinter
timechange(andreverse)isalsosetautomatically.Otherdeviating
timescanbesetmanually only.
3.3Automatic time settingviaMSFtimesignal
Afterinserting willthe thebattery, time besetautomaticallyviaMSF
signal. takeThisprocessmay a few minutes(about ‐ 5 7 minutes).
Duringthisprocess,theclockhandswill timesturnseveral andmay
pauseuntiltheydisplay the right time.
3.4InitiatetoreceivetheMSFtimesignal manually
Use changethisfunctionwhen summer/winterautomatic time does not
workorthewallclocktemporarilyreceivesnotimesignal.
(1) Press andholdtheRECbutton ( )D1 for 3 secondstostartmanual
searchfortheMSFsignal.
(2)Theclockhandswill tomove theirstartposition(12:00 a.m.)
andthe tries thewallclockthen toreceive signal.
Waitapprox. ‐ 2 5 minutes timeuntilthecurrent willbedisplayed.
3.5Manualtimesetting
Itis timenecessaryto theset manuallyinplaceswherenoradiosignal
isreceived.
(1)Pressandhold approx.the M.SET( )D3 button for 3 seconds.
(2)Whentheminute’shandstartsmovingyoucanset the timemanually:
‐Press the M.SET( )D3 button to set the timeinminutes.
‐Press and hold the M.SET(D3) button to set the timecontinuously.
(3)ReleaseM.SET( )D3 button to stop manual setting and save the time
automatically.Exitthemanualtimesettingmode.
3.6Reset
Ifthereisnoresponsefromthe2nd hand on the wall clock if or if any
othermalfunctionoccursperformthefollowingsteps.
Withthisprocedureallreceiveddata be deleted.will
(1)PressRESETbutton ( )D4 with a pointedinstrument(e.g.pen).
(2)Theclockhandwill startmoveto the position (12:00 a.m.)andthe
wallclockwilltry thetoreceive signal.
Waitapprox.2‐5 minutes until thecurrenttimewillbedisplayed.
4.DIGITALCLOCK
4.1Gettingstarted:
z OpenbatteryCover (C2).
z Insert 2 x AAsizebatteriesobservingpolarity(+and–).Youwillhear
a“click”soundwhichwillconfirmthebatterieshavebeeninserted
correctly.
z Replace (batterycompartmentcoverC2).
4.2Tobegin
Youhave 1 minuteto thearrange firstsetting.Theclockdisplays
English,press press“▲”(B2) ”or▼”(B3)toselectyourlanguageand
“ /SET ”( ”( ”(B1) ”tovalidate,Press▲B2) ”or▼B3)tochoosethe
typeofdisplaysetandpress“ /SET ”(B1)tovalidate(seebelow
thedifferentdisplaymethods).
Ifyoudon’tpressanykeys,after 1 minutetheViso50willlaunchthe
automaticclocksetting.
Note:Place the Viso50 near a window for
theclocktoautomaticallyset.
