SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
-Read the instructions carefully before using for
the first time.
- For your safety, this appliance complies with the
standards and regulations in force.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
- Unplug the appliance each time after use.
- Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any
other liquid. It should not be rinsed either.
- Do not exceed the maximum quantities or
operating periods indicated.
- It is designed to operate solely with an
alternative current. Before using it for the first
time, we ask you to check that the mains
voltage matches that stated on the
identification plate of the appliance. Any
incorrect connection will render the warranty
invalid.
The appliance must be placed on a flat, stable,
heat-resistant surface away from water splashes.
- Do not place or use this appliance on a hot hob
or close to a flame (gas cooker).
- The appliance must be unplugged:
* if there is any malfunction during operation.
* each time before cleaning or maintenance
* after use
- Do not unplug the appliance by pulling the
cord.
- Do not use an extension before checking that it
is in perfect condition.
- A household electrical appliance that has been
dropped must not be used.
- If the power cord has been damaged, it must
be changed by the manufacturer, the after
sales service or a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid any danger.
- This appliance has been designed for domestic
use only. Any commercial use, inappropriate
use or failure to comply with the instructions, the
manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the
guarantee will not apply.
- The identification plate of the appliance and its
main characteristics are located on the
underneath of the appliance.
- Do not operate the citrus press for more than 10
minutes without stopping.

USING THE APPLIANCE
-Before using the appliance for the first time,
wash the parts which will be in contact with
food.
- Position the jug (B), the filter (C) and the cone
(E) on the motor unit (A) as shown on the
diagram.
- Cut a citrus fruit in half and gently press each
half onto the cone. You will recover the juice in
the jug (B).
- position the metal filter (D)Pulp-free juice:
between the cone (E) and filter (C) to obtain
juice with no pulp.
- Never operate the juice extractor for more than
10 minutes at a time, without stopping.
CLEANING
- Once you have unpacked your appliance and
before using it for the first time, clean all parts.
- Clean the motor unit (A) with a damp cloth. Do
not immerse the appliance in water.
- All the other parts (protective cover (F), filter (C),
metal filter (D), cone (E), jug (B)) can be
washed under the tap or in a dishwasher (upper
trays).
- After use, immediately clean the various parts
under the tap or in a dishwasher so that the
pulp doesn’t remain stuck on them.
- Never use bleach or an abrasive sponge.
Over time the strong coloured natural juices
from food such as carrots and beetroot may
stain some of the plastic parts, this is normal.
These parts may be cleaned by soaking in mild
bleach (non-abrasive) straight after use.

- Check that your appliance is plugged in
correctly.
