Your owner’s manual includes recommendations for fuel such as 87 or 91 octane and references to
non-oxygenated, and non-ethanol. Please disregard any information about recommended fuel in your
owner’s manual.
Fill the fuel tank with the recommended fuel. Refer to recommended fuel chart on next page.
If using E10 fuel, ensure your snowmobile is in the non-premium/ETHANOL fuel type selection mode.
The procedure for changing the fuel type selection varies based on the vehicle’s gauge. Instructions
for fuel type selection can be found in your owner’s manual.
Using fuels other than what is recommended in the chart on the next page may increase the risk
of electrostatic spark, which could burst the fuel tank and may start a fi re in the fuel tank when the
engine is running.
NEVER use unleaded fuels with an ethanol rating of E15 or E85 as severe engine damage may
occur.
When performing the summerization storage procedures, fi ll the fuel tank completely with the
recommended fuel and the recommended amount of fuel stabilizer. If fi lling with E0, unknown, or
<10% ethanol, use the Polaris Anti-Static Fuel Treatment as the fuel stabilizer.
To prepare your fuel system for riding season, inspect the fuel system to verify that the tank is
completely full.
