IMPORTANT

Installer and Users please note:

These instructions should be read carefully and left with the user of the product

for future reference.

BEFORE USE

Inspect the product including its cable and plug for any signs of damage. If the

product is damaged, DO NOT use it, and contact your supplier immediately. The

appliance contains a refrigerant gas, so must be kept upright at all times. After

unpacking wait 3 hours for the refrigerant gas to stabilise before use. The

following is a list of parts that should be included in the packaging.

INSTALLATION

Stand the EH01614 on a ﬁrm, ﬂat; level surface at least 30cm (12”) from the

nearest wall. Before use you will need to install the drainage pipe at the rear of

the unit.

First remove the rubber plug from the drain port on the rear of the air

Attach the drain pipe clip to rear panel of the air conditioner using the screw

provided.

Firmly attach the drainage pipe to the drain port and secure using the pipe hoop

spring clip provided. The other end of the drainage pipe should be sealed using

the rubber plug which again should be secured using the spring clip. Attach the

drainage pipe to the unit by clipping into the drain pipe clip.

In normal operation t EH1614 tank should only gather a small amount of water he

as any condensate water is usually vented oﬀ with the hot exhaust air

If you wish the condensate tank, can be permanently connected to the drain. To

do this a long drain tube may be attached to the drain port and ran to a suitable

drain.

EMPTY CONDENSATE TANK

To empty the water tank, switch the unit oﬀ by pressing the ON/OFF button, wait

for three minutes then disconnect from the mains supply. Place a drainage pan

underneath the drain pipe (at the bottom, rear of the unit in the centre).Release

the spring clip and withdraw the bung, allow the water to drain into the drainage

pan. Replace the bung spring clip then reconnect the unit to the mains and

supply
