1.1 Safety and Noce

reference.

The PT-C-VGAHD VGA and Audio to HDMI™ Converter has been tested for conformance to safety

regulaons and requirements, and has been cered for internaonal use. However, like all electronic

equipments, the should be used with care. Please read and follow the safety instrucons PT-C-VGAHD

to protect yourself from possible injury and to minimize the risk of damage to the unit.

● Follow all instrucons and warnings marked on this unit.

● Do not aempt to service this unit yourself, except where explained in this manual.

● Provide proper venlaon and air circulaon and do not use near water.

● Keep objects that might damage the device and assure that the placement of this unit is on a stable

1.2 Introducon

The oers an easy and instant approach for converng PT-C-VGAHD VGA and Audio to HDMI™ Converter

analog PC video (VGA) with either digital audio (S/PDIF) or analog stereo audio to digital HDMI. With this

module, VGA based devices such as PC with S/PDIF or analog stereo audio can readily connect to your

HDMI TV. With such a convenience, presentaons, demonstraons, or digital signage become easier and

more cost eecve.

PC video supports up to UXGA (1600x1200) or WUXGA (1920x1200)

Supports most popular VESA resoluons from 640x480 up to WUXGA

Front panel LED indicators

Easy installaon The length depends on the characteriscs and quality of the cables. Higher

resoluons and longer transmission distances require low skew cables (<25ns/100m) for best

performance. Unshielded CAT6 with metal RJ-45 connectors is recommended.
