Important safety instructions
READ CAREFULLY AND STORE FOR FUTURE USE.
■This appliance may be used by children 8 years of age and older and
by persons with physical or mental impairments or by inexperienced
persons, if they are properly supervised or have been informed about
how to use the product in asafe manner and understand the potential
dangers.
■Cleaning and maintenance performed by the user must not be performed
by children unless they are older that 8 years of age and under supervision.
Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children younger
than 8 years of age.
■Children must not play with the appliance.
■Cleaning and maintenance performed by the user must not be performed
by unsupervised children.
■In the event that the power cord is damaged, have it repaired at
aprofessional service centre to prevent causing adangerous situation. It
is forbidden to use the appliance if it has adamaged power cord.
Warning:
Incorrect use may lead to injuries.
■Avoid coming into contact with moving parts such as the milk frothing
attachment.
■Clean the milk kettle and milk frothing attachment according to the
instructions provided in chapter "Cleaning and maintenance".
■Always disconnect the appliance from the power socket when leaving it
without supervision, before assembly or disassembly, when not using it,
before moving or cleaning it.
■Before replacing the accessories or accessible parts that move during
use, turn the appliance off and disconnect it from the power supply.
■This appliance is designed for household use only. It is not intended for
use in locations such as:
– staff kitchens in stores, offices and other workplaces;

– agricultural farms;
– hotel or motel rooms and other living areas;
– bed and breakfast establishments.
■Take care not to spill anything on the connector when handling the
appliance.
■The surface of the heating element and body of the appliance remains
hot after use due to residual heat. Do not touch the hot surface.
■To prevent the risk of injury by electrical shock, do not submerge or
expose the motor base unit, plug or power cord to water or any other
liquid.
■Do not submerge the appliance in water or in any other liquid for the
purpose of cleaning it.

Do not touch the hot surface. There is adanger of aburns.
■Before connecting the appliance to a power socket check that the
nominal voltage matches the electrical voltage in the socket.
■Do not use the appliance if it has fallen or is damaged in any way. If the
appliance is damaged, please contact an authorised service centre.
■To prevent the risk of injury by electrical shock, do not submerge or
expose the motor base unit, plug or power cord to water or any other
liquid.
■Do not submerge the appliance in water or in any other liquid for the
purpose of cleaning it.
■Disconnect the appliance from the power socket by pulling on the plug,
never pulling on the power cord. Otherwise, this could damage the
power cord or the socket.
■Use only accessories supplied with the appliance or recommended
by the manufacturer. Using accessories other than those supplied or
recommended can result in injuries, afire hazard or injury by electrical
shock.
■The length of the power cord is designed so that it is not possible to trip
over it or for it to tangle up.
