Das Produkt richtig verwenden

Das Produkt darf ausschließlich dieser Anleitung

gemäß verwendet werden. Dieses Signalmodell

ist bestimmt

– zum Einbau in Modelleisenbahnanlagen,

– zum Anschluss an ein Steuermodul für

Multiplex-Signale (z. B. 5229), Viessmann

– zum Betrieb in trockenen Räumen.

Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt als

nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für daraus resultie-

rende Schäden haftet der Hersteller nicht.

2. Einleitung

Ks-Signale, auch als Kombinationssignale be-

zeichnet, sind der neue Standard der Deutschen

Bahn AG. Sie sind als einheitliches Signalsystem

im Zuge der deutschen Einheit entwickelt worden

und seit 1993 im Einsatz.

Vereinfachte Signalbilder und fein abgestufte Ge-

schwindigkeitsangaben sind ihr großer Vorteil.

Man ﬁndet Ks-Signale heute auf Neu- und Aus-

baustrecken sowie auf vielen Strecken, die durch

ein modernes Elektronisches Stellwerk ESTW ge-

steuert werden.

Viessmann Ks-Signale sind mit der intelligenten

Multiplextechnik ausgestattet. Dadurch führen nur

noch vier Kabel mit einem Spezialstecker vom Si-

gnal zum Steuermodul für Multiplex-Signale. Das

Steuermodul erkennt automatisch, welcher Sig-

naltyp angeschlossen ist und konﬁguriert sich ent-

sprechend.

Natürlich sind auch die modernen Ks-Signale ﬁli-

gran detailliert und mit einem Metallmast ausge-

stattet. Die Signalschirme sind komplett mit ener-

giesparenden und langlebigen LEDs bestückt. Zu-

satzlicht, Geschwindigkeitsanzeiger und Rangier-

fahrtsignal sind mit weißen LEDs ausgestattet.

Der -Patentsteckfuß sorgt für einfache Viessmann

und schnelle Montage von oben.

– for installation in model railroad layouts,

– for connection to a control module for

multiplex-signals (e. g. 5229), Viessmann

– for operation in a dry area.

Using the product for any other purpose is not

approved and is considered incorrect.

The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for

any damage resulting from the improper use of

this product.

Ks-Signals, also known as “combination signals”,

are the new standard of the germain railways. Ks-

Signals have been developed in the early 1990s

to bring together the signalling system of “Deut-

sche Reichsbahn” and “Deutsche Bundesbahn”.

They are in use since 1993.

The great advantages of the new Ks-Signals are

simple aspects and different speed notiﬁcation.

Today, you ﬁnd Ks-Signals at highspeed routes

and at electronically controlled routes.

Viessmann Ks-Signals use the innovative mul-

tiplex-technology. Due to that, only four cables

have to link the signals and the control module.

The special multiplex-control module recognizes

automatically which type of signal is connected.

The module conﬁgures automatically.

The new Ks-Signals have ﬁnely detailed metal

masts. The signal heads have energy-saving leds

which have a nearly iniﬁnite lifetime. White leds

are built in for the different special aspects.

The patented -socket allows simple Viessmann

and fast mounting.

3. Signalbegriffe

jedes Signal jeden Begriff darstellen kann.

4. Montage

1. Bohren Sie an der Montagestelle ein Loch mit

6 mm Durchmesser.

2. Führen Sie das Anschlusskabel mit dem Ste-

cker von oben durch das Montageloch und

stecken Sie dann das Signal mit dem Patent-

steckfuß hinein.

Tausch der Ziffernscheiben

Dem Modell liegen Ziffernscheiben mit unter-

schiedlichen Geschwindigkeitsangaben für die

Geschwindigkeitsanzeiger bei. Legen Sie die ge-

wünschten Geschwindigkeiten fest und montieren

Sie die Ziffernscheiben gemäß der Hinweise auf

der nächsten Seite.

1) Drill a hole with 6 mm diameter

at the mounting place.

2) The signal‘s connection wire with the plug has

to be inserted into the hole ﬁrst. After that put

the signal with the patented -socket Viessmann

into that hole.

Enclosed you’ll ﬁnd number plates with different

numbers for the allowed train speeds. Mount the

decided number plates as told on the following

page.
