Bitte lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie
das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen.
Vorsicht

Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an Wechselspannung
(~) an und prüfen Sie, ob Ihre Netzspannung mit
der Spannungsangabe auf dem Gerät überein-
stimmt.
•
Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und
von Personen mit reduzierten physischen, senso-
rischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an
Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn
sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren
Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und
die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden
haben. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht
durch Kinder durchgeführt werden, es sei denn,
sie sind älter als 8 Jahre und beaufsichtigt.

Dieses Gerät darf nicht in der Nähe von mit
Wasser gefüllten Behältern wie z.B. Bade-
wanne, Dusche, Waschbecken verwendet
werden. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät nicht
nass wird.

Ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker, wenn das
Gerät nicht in Gebrauch ist. Die Nähe von Wasser
stellt eine Gefahr dar, auch wenn das Gerät ausge-
schaltet ist.
•
Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird die Installation einer
Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung (FI/RCD) mit einem
Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr als
30 mA im Badezimmer-Stromkreis empfohlen.
Fragen Sie Ihren Installateur um Rat.

Das Netzkabel nicht um das Gerät wickeln. Über-
prüfen Sie es regelmäßig auf Schadstellen. Ist das
Netzkabel beschädigt, muss es durch eine vom
Hersteller benannte Reparaturwerkstatt ersetzt
werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
Das Gerät eignet sich zum Stylen von handtuchtrockenem oder
feuchtem Haar. Sie können das Gerät ohne Styling-Aufsätze auch
zum Vortrocknen verwenden.
IONTEC
IONTEC ist eine Technologie, die speziell zum Schutz der Gesund-
heit Ihrer Haare entwickelt wurde.
Beim Betrieb des Gerätes strömen Millionen von Satin-Ionen aus
der grünen Ionen-Düse (3), die jedes einzelne Haar umschließen
und Feuchtigkeitspartikel aus der Umgebungsluft anziehen, um so
schnell den Feuchtigkeitsgehalt Ihres Haares wiederherzustellen.

Abnehmen/Aufsetzen der Styling-Aufsätze
• Um einen Aufsatz abzunehmen, drehen Sie ihn so, dass
die eine Pfeilmarkierung auf die Strichmarkierung am
Motorteil zeigt.
• Um einen Aufsatz anzubringen, richten Sie seinen Pfeil
auf die Strichmarkierung am Motorteil aus und drehen
Sie, bis die Pfeile übereinanderstehen und der Aufsatz
einrastet.
Verwendung der Styling-Aufsätze
• Die Rundbürste (4) eignet sich nicht nur zum Formen größerer
Locken und Wellen, sondern auch zum Glätten und um Volumen
am Haaransatz zu erzeugen.
• Mit dem Kamm-Aufsatz (5) können Sie das Haar entwirren,
kämmen und glätten, aber auch Stand am Haaransatz erzeugen
oder Ihren Pony stylen.
Kaltstufe
Halten Sie die Kaltstufen-Taste (2) gedrückt, um die Frisur mit kalter
Luft zu fixieren.
Reinigen
Nach Gebrauch Netzstecker ziehen. Die Rundbürste und der
Kamm-Aufsatz können mit warmem Seifenwasser gereinigt
werden.
Wischen Sie das Motorteil nur mit einem trockenen Tuch ab.
Änderungen vorbehalten.
Dieses Gerät darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht mit
dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Die Entsorgung kann über
den Braun Kundendienst oder lokal verfügbare Rückgabe-
und Sammelsysteme erfolgen.
Garantie
Als Hersteller übernehmen wir für dieses Gerät – nach Wahl des
Käufers zusätzlich zu den gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsansprüchen
gegen den Verkäufer – eine Garantie von 2 Jahren ab Kaufdatum.
Innerhalb dieser Garantiezeit beseitigen wir nach unserer Wahl
durch Reparatur oder Austausch des Gerätes unentgeltlich alle
Mängel, die auf Material- oder Herstellungsfehlern beruhen. Die
Garantie kann in allen Ländern in Anspruch genommen werden, in
denen dieses Braun Gerät von uns autorisiert verkauft wird.
Von der Garantie sind ausgenommen: Schäden durch
unsachgemäßen Gebrauch, normaler Verschleiß und Verbrauch
sowie Mängel, die den Wert oder die Gebrauchstauglichkeit des
Gerätes nur unerheblich beeinflussen. Bei Eingriffen durch nicht
von uns autorisierte Braun Kundendienstpartner sowie bei
Verwendung anderer als Original Braun Ersatzteile erlischt die
Garantie.

Important
•
Plug your appliance into an alternating current (~)
outlet only and make sure that your household
voltage corresponds to the voltage marked on
your appliance.
•
This appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the safe use
of the appliance and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by children unless they are older than 8 years and
supervised.
•
This appliance must never be used near water
(e.g. a filled wash basin, bathtub or shower).
Do not allow the appliance to become wet.
•
Always unplug after use. Even when switched off,
the appliance presents a hazard when near water.
•
For additional protection, it is advisable to install a
residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual
operating current not exceeding 30 mA in the elec-
trical circuit of your bathroom. Ask your installer for
advice.
•
Do not wrap the mains cord around the appliance.
Regularly check the mains cord for wear or damage.
If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an
authorized Braun Service Centre in order to avoid
a hazard.
The appliance is perfectly suited for styling towel-dried or damp
hair. For pre-drying your hair, you may use the appliance without
attachments.
IONTEC
IONTEC is a technology which is specifically designed to protect
the health of your hair. The green ion jet (3) releases millions of
satin ions effectively onto your hair. These attract moisture particles
from the air during styling, quickly restoring the moisture balance of
your hair that usually gets lost during styling with heat.
On/off switch (1)
0 = off
I = soft setting
II = turbo setting
Removing/assembling attachments
• To remove the attachment, turn it so that its arrow
marking aligns with the line marking on the motor part.
• To assemble an attachment, align the arrow on the
attachment with the line marking on the motor part and
turn until the arrows match and the attachment is locked.
Using the styling attachments
• The round brush (4) can be used styling curls and waves, but
also for straightening and creating volume and root lift.
• The comb attachment (5) is perfectly suited for untangling,
combing, straightening your hair. You may also use it to create
root lift or to style your fringe.
Cold shot
To fix a style with cold air, keep the cold shot button (2) pressed.
Cleaning
After use, unplug the appliance. You may clean the brush and
comb attachments in warm soapy water. Dry the attachments
before reattaching them.
The motor part should only be cleaned with a dry cloth.
Subject to change without notice.
Please do not dispose of the product in the household
waste at the end of its useful life. Disposal can take place at
a Braun Service Centre or at appropriate collection points
provided in your country.
Guarantee
We grant a 2 year guarantee on the product commencing on the
date of purchase. Within the guarantee period we will eliminate any
defects in the appliance resulting from faults in materials or
workmanship, free of charge either by repairing or replacing the
complete appliance at our discretion.
