Safety
• Incorrect handling of this product could result in personal injury.
• The product should always be disconnected from themains when it is not in use,
when it is to be assembled/disassembled and when it is to be cleaned.
• The product must not be used by children. Ensurethat theproduct and its mains
lead are kept out of children’sreach.
• Wash theparts in warm water using abit of washing-up liquid.
• Switch theproduct off and disconnect it from themains before removing any
accessories or handling any of themoving parts.
• The product may be used by persons with some form of disability, lack of
experience or knowledge, provided they have been instructed and understand
thepossible safety hazards that may arise during use and no longer pose athreat
to their own or others’ safety.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Ensure that theproduct is used with thecorrect voltage. Referto theproduct’s
rating plate.
• Remove therotation screw and tower from themotor unit before cleaning.
• To prevent electric shocks, theproduct and its mains lead should always be keptdry.
• Never lay themains lead over hot surfaces, sharp edges or corners.
• Always disconnect theproduct from thepower supply by holding and pulling
theplug. Donot pull themainslead.
• Make sure that all parts are correctly assembled and that theproduct is switched
off before it is connected to thepower supply.
• The product is intended for indoor useonly.
• Only use theprovided accessories.
• Never use theproduct for anything other than its intended use.
• Never immerse themotor unit in water or expose it to moisture.
• Do not subject theproduct to moisture, impacts or high temperatures.
• Never use theproduct if you have dropped it on thefloor, left it outdoors or
dropped it intowater.
• Never try to open thecasing. Certain components inside thecasing carry
dangerous electrical current. Contact with these components could result in
electric shock.
• The product must not be taken apart or modified.
