1) Work area safety

Nevermodify theplug in anyway. Neveruse anadaptor plug together with

been modiﬁed in any way reduce therisk of electric shocks.

b) Avoid physical contact with earthed objects, such as pipes, radiators, ovens

or refrigerators. Thereis anincreased risk of electrical shock if your body is earthed.

c) Waterentering Do not expose thepower tool to rain or other wet conditions.

d) Do not abuse themainslead. Neveruse thelead to carry/drag thetool or to jerk

theplug from awall socket. Keepthelead away from heat, oil, sharp edges and

movingparts. Damaged or tangled leads increase therisk of electricshock.

e) When using apower tool outdoors, use anextension lead that is suitable for

this purpose. Theuse of anextension lead designed for outdoor use decreases

therisk of electric shocks.

f) If for some reason you must use apower tool in awet environment, always

connect it to themains via anearth-fault circuit breaker such as anRCD (residual

current device). Useof anRCD signiﬁcantly reduces therisk of electricshock.
