Thank you for choosing the K&K Twin Spot Internal! The Twin Spot Internal is a multi-use pickup, recommended
for improved balance of sound and enlarged frequency range over single-spot pickups. These instructions will
cover the installation procedure for acoustic guitars.
INSTALLATION
1. Remove the old endpin. Use a file or drill to widen hole to ½ (12
mm).
2. Take off or loosen the guitar’s strings so that you can access the
sound hole. Make sure that the surface where the transducers will be
attached is clean.
3. Attach the pickup heads with the provided double sided adhesive -
film. This adhesive film is specifically designed for quality sound
transmission because it is ultra thin and enables the harmonic
frequencies to completely pass through to the transducer disc.
4. Position the pickups according to the illustration inside the guitar by
reaching through the sound hole. During installation, you might be
able to locate the pinholes in the bridge by feeling with your fingers
in order to determine the desired mounting areas.
5. Unscrew the jack's endpin knob. Position endpin jack from inside the guitar into pre drilled hole. You may
have to adjust the nut position to your needs. Screw endpin knob back on the jack from the outside of the
instrument.
