NOTE: For Atoto, Blaupunkt, Dual, Farenheit, Power Acoustik, Soundstream, and most o-brand radios,
check the aftermarket radio’s manual to see if the SWC buttons need to be programmed.
3.5MM SWC CABLE
Plug in the 3.5MM to 4-Pin SWC cable to the SWC module.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Carefully remove the gear shier
trim ring.
2. Use a plasc pry bar and carefully li
and remove the gear shier trim bezel.
3. Unplug the cigaree lighter
connecon.

For aermarket radios that have wires for SWC connecons, cut o the 3.5mm plug on the Crux SWC Cable (opon B) and
connect the SWC wires as follows:
Note that there are some radios that only have
SWC1 and SWC2, in this case “shield” does not
need to be connected.

4. Remove the screws holding the le
and right side trims.
5. Remove the le and right side trims. 6. Remove the screws holding the
radio.
7. Unplug the hazard light connector. 8. Unplug the connectors behind the
radio.
9. Note that the SWC connecon is
made on the 8-pin connector.
8. Use the necessary dash kit (not included) to complete the installaon. Connect
the aermarket radio wires to the SWRSU-38A T-harness.
9. Plug in the SWRSU-38A 8-pin SWC connector to the factory mate.
10. Conrm the DIP Switch sengs and test the steering wheel controls for
funconality.
11. Test the radio for other funconality before installing the new radio into the
dash. Reverse the radio removal process.
