These instructions are intended for users
with basic knowledge of audio technology.
Please read these instructions carefully prior
to operation and keep them for later refer-
ence.
1 Applications
This electret microphone with omnidirectional
characteristic is de signed for sound pick-up of
speech and music. The small weight and the
minimum dimensions allow a direct attachment
to clothes (tie, lapel).
Power supply of the microphone is effected
via the connected audio unit, i. e. the microphone
input on the audio unit must be provided with a
phantom power in the range of 9 – 48 V. For con-
necting the microphone, the phantom power
adapter EMA-300P is required, available as a sep-
arate accessory.
2 Important Notes
The microphone corresponds to all relevant direc-
tives of the EU and is therefore marked with .
•
The microphone is suitable for indoor use only.
Protect it against dripping water and splashwa-
ter, high air humidity and heat (admissible ambi-
ent temperature range 0 – 40 °C).
•
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never use
chemicals or water.
•
No guarantee claims for the microphone and
no liability for any resulting personal damage or
material damage will be accepted if it is used
for other purposes than originally intended, if it
is not correctly connected or not repaired in an
expert way.
If the microphone is to be put out of
operation definitely, dispose of the mi-
crophone in accordance with local reg-
ulations.
3 Setting into Operation
For connecting the microphone to the audio unit
(e. g. mixer, recording unit, am plifier), the adapter
EMA-300P is required. Connect the microphone
cable to the mini XLR plug of the adapter and
connect the XLR plug of the adapter to a bal-
anced XLR microphone input on the audio unit.
The microphone input must be provided with a
phantom power in the range of 9 – 48 V, otherwise
operation of the microphone will be impossible.

Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Benutzer
mit Grundkenntnissen in der Audiotechnik.
Bitte lesen Sie die Anleitung vor dem Betrieb
gründlich durch und heben Sie sie für ein
späteres Nachlesen auf.
1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Dieses Elektret-Mikrofon mit Kugelcharakteristik
ist für die Schallumwandlung von Sprache und
Musik konzipiert. Das geringe Gewicht und die
minimalen Abmessungen ermöglichen es, das
Mikrofon direkt an die Kleidung zu stecken (Kra-
watte, Revers).
Das Mikrofon wird über das angeschlossene
Audiogerät gespeist, d. h. der Mikrofoneingang
am Audiogerät muss über eine Phantomspeisung
im Bereich von 9 – 48 V verfügen. Für den An-
schluss des Mikrofons wird der separat erhältliche
Phantomspeise adapter EMA-300P benötigt.
2 Wichtige Hinweise
Das Mikrofon entspricht allen relevanten Richtli-
nien der EU und trägt deshalb das -Zeichen.
•
Setzen Sie das Mikrofon nur im Innenbereich ein
und schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser,
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zu lässiger Ein-
satztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
•
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes,
weiches Tuch, niemals Chemikalien oder Wasser.
•
Wird das Mikrofon zweckentfremdet, falsch
angeschlossen oder nicht fachgerecht repariert,
kann keine Haftung für daraus resultierende
Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Garantie
für das Mikrofon übernommen werden.
Soll das Mikrofon endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, entsorgen
Sie es gemäß den örtlichen Vorschriften.
3 Inbetriebnahme
Für den Anschluss des Mikrofons an das Audio-
gerät (z. B. Mischpult, Aufnahmegerät, Verstärker)
wird der Adapter EMA-300P benötigt. Das Mikro-
fonkabel an den Mini-XLR-Stecker des Adapters
anschließen und den XLR-Stecker des Adapters
mit einem symmetrischen XLR-Mikrofoneingang
am Audiogerät verbinden. Der Mikrofoneingang
muss mit einer Phantomspeisung im Bereich von
9 – 48 V ausgestattet sein, anderenfalls ist kein
Mikrofonbetrieb möglich.

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte a utenti con
conoscenze base nella tecnica audio. Vi pre-
ghiamo di leggerle attentamente prima della
messa in funzione e di conservarle per un uso
futuro.
1 Possibilità d’impiego
Questo microfono all’elettrete con caratteristica
omnidirezionale è stato realizzato per la capta-
zione del suono della lingua parlata e della musica.
Il ridotto peso e le dimensioni minime permettono
di fissare il microfono direttamente sui vestiti (cra-
vatta, giacca).
La tensione di alimentazione viene dall’ap-
parecchio audio collegato; ciò significa che l’in-
gresso microfono dell’apparecchio audio dev’es-
sere equipaggiato con alimentazione phantom nel
campo 9 – 48 V. Per il collegamento del microfono
è richiesto l’adattatore di alimentazione phantom
EMA-300P, disponibile come accessorio separato.
2 Avvertenze importanti
Il microfono è conforme a tutte le direttive rilevanti
dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla .
•
Usare il microfono solo all’interno di locali e pro-
teggerlo dall’acqua gocciolante e dagli spruzzi
d’acqua, da alta umidità dell’aria e dal calore
(temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra 0 e 40 °C).
•
Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido,
asciutto; non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti
chimici o acqua.
•
Nel caso d’uso improprio, di collegamenti sba-
gliati, o di riparazione non a regola d’arte del
microfono, non si assume nessuna responsabilità
per eventuali danni consequenziali a persone o
a cose e non si assume nessuna garanzia per il
microfono.
Se il microfono deve essere messo defi-
nitivamente fuori servizio, smaltire il mi-
crofono in conformità con le normative
locali.
3 Messa in funzione
Per il collegamento del microfono con l’apparec-
chio audio (p. es. mixer, registratore, amplificatore)
è richiesto l’adattatore di alimentazione phan tom
EMA-300P. Collegare il cavo del microfono con il
connettore mini-XLR dell’adattatore e collegare il
connettore XLR dell’adattatore con un ingresso
microfono XLR simmetrico sull’apparecchio audio.
L’ingresso microfono de ve essere equipaggiato con
un’alimentazione phantom nel campo 9 – 48 V, al-
trimenti il microfono non può funzionare.

Cette notice s’adresse aux utilisateurs avec
des connaissances de base en audio. Veuillez
lire la présente notice avec attention avant le
fonctionnement et conservez-la pour pouvoir
vous y reporter ultérieurement.
1 Possibilités d’utilisation
Ce microphone électret avec caractéristique om-
nidirectionnelle est conçu pour capter le son de la
musique et de la parole. Son faible poids et ses très
petites dimensions permettent de le porter direc-
tement sur un vêtement (revers de veste, cravate).
Le microphone est alimenté via l’appareil audio
relié : l’entrée micro sur l’appareil audio doit dispo-
ser d’une alimentation fantôme dans la plage de
9 – 48 V. Pour connecter le micro, il est nécessaire
d’utiliser l’adaptateur d’alimentation fantôme
EMA-300P disponible séparément.
2 Conseils importants
Le microphone répond à toutes les directives né-
cessaires de l’Union Européenne et porte donc le
symbole .
•
Le microphone n’est conçu que pour une utili-
sation en intérieur. Protégez-le de tout type de
projections d’eau, des éclaboussures, d’une hu-
midité élevée et de la chaleur (plage de tempé-
rature de fonctionnement autorisée : 0 – 40 °C).
•
Pour le nettoyer, utilisez uniquement un chiffon
sec et doux, en aucun cas de produits chimiques
ou d’eau.
•
Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de
dommages matériels ou corporels résultants si le
microphone est utilisé dans un but autre que celui
pour lequel il a été conçu, s’il n’est pas correc-
tement branché ou s’il n’est pas réparé par une
personne habilitée ; en outre, la garantie devien-
drait caduque.
Lorsque le microphone est définitivement
retiré du service, éliminez-le conformé-
ment aux directives locales.

3 Fonctionnement
Pour brancher le micro à l’appareil audio (par
exemple table de mixage, enregistreur, amplifica-
teur), l’adaptateur EMA-300P est nécessaire. Re-
liez le cordon micro à la fiche mini XLR mâle de
l’adaptateur et la fiche XLR mâle de l’adaptateur
à une entrée micro XLR symétrique sur l’appareil
audio. L’entrée micro doit être dotée d’une alimen-
tation fantôme dans la plage de , sinon le 9 – 48 V
micro ne fonctionne pas.
