2 Sicherheitshinweise
2.1 Allgemeine Sicherheit
!WARNUNG!
Wenn das Kühlgerät sichtbare Beschädigungen aufweist,
dürfen Sie es nicht in Betrieb nehmen.
Wenn das Anschlusskabel dieses Kühlgerätes beschädigt wird,
muss es durch den Hersteller, seinen Kundendienst oder eine
ähnlich qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen
zu vermeiden.
Reparaturen an diesem Kühlgerät dürfen nur von Fachkräften
durchgeführt werden. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen
können erhebliche Gefahren entstehen.
Dieses Kühlgerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber
sowie von Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen
oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und
Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich
des sicheren Gebrauchs des Kühlgerätes unterwiesen wurden
und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen.
Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht von Kindern

Lebensmittel dürfen nur in Originalverpackungen oder
geeigneten Behältern eingelagert werden.
AACHTUNG!
Vergleichen Sie die Spannungsangabe auf dem Typenschild
mit der vorhandenen Energieversorgung.
Schließen Sie das Kühlgerät nur wie folgt an:
– mit dem Gleichstrom-Anschlusskabel an die Gleichstrom-
Bordsteckdose (z. B. Zigarettenanzünder) im Fahrzeug
– oder mit dem Wechselstrom-Anschlusskabel an das
Wechselstromnetz
Ziehen Sie den Stecker nie am Anschlusskabel aus der Steck-
dose.
Wenn das Kühlgerät an der Gleichstrom-Steckdose ange-
schlossen ist: Klemmen Sie Ihr Kühlgerät und andere
Verbraucher von der Fahrzeugbatterie ab, bevor Sie ein
Schnellladegerät anschließen.
Wenn das Kühlgerät an der Gleichstrom-Steckdose ange-
schlossen ist: Trennen Sie die Verbindung oder schalten Sie
das Kühlgerät aus, wenn Sie den Motor ausschalten. Sonst
kann die Fahrzeugbatterie entladen werden.
Das Kühlgerät ist nicht geeignet für den Transport ätzender
oder lösungsmittelhaltiger Stoffe.
Dieses Kühlgerät enthält in der Isolierung brennbares
Zyklopentan. Die Gase im Isolationsmaterial erfordern ein
besonderes Entsorgungsverfahren. Führen Sie das Kühlgerät
am Ende seiner Lebensdauer einer ordnungsgemäßen
Entsorgung zu.

2.2 Sicherheit beim Betrieb des Kühlgerätes
!VORSICHT!
Achten Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme darauf, dass Zuleitung und
Stecker trocken sind.
AACHTUNG!
Benutzen Sie keine Elektrogeräte innerhalb des Kühlgerätes,
außer wenn diese Elektrogeräte vom Hersteller dafür
empfohlen werden.
Stellen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht in der Nähe von offenen
Flammen oder anderen Wärmequellen (Heizung, starke
Sonneneinstrahlung, Gasöfen usw.) ab.
Überhitzungsgefahr!
Achten Sie stets darauf, dass beim Betrieb entstehende Wärme
ausreichend abgeführt werden kann. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass
das Kühlgerät in ausreichendem Abstand zu Wänden oder
Gegenständen steht, sodass die Luft zirkulieren kann.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Lüftungsöffnungen nicht abgedeckt
werden.
Füllen Sie keine Flüssigkeiten oder Eis in den Innenbehälter.
Tauchen Sie das Kühlgerät nie in Wasser.
Schützen Sie das Kühlgerät und die Kabel vor Hitze und Nässe.

4 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Die thermoelektrische Kühlbox eignet sich zum Kühlen (SC26, SCT26,
SC30, SC38) und Wärmen (nur SC30, SC38) von Lebensmitteln. Mit einem
Schalter kann zwischen dem Heizbetrieb und dem Kühlbetrieb gewechselt
werden (nur SC30, SC38).
Die Kühlbox kann wie folgt angeschlossen werden:
SC26: an 12 Vg
SCT26: an 12 Vg oder an 24 Vg
SC30, SC38: an 12 Vg oder an 230 Vw
Das Kühlgerät ist für den Hausgebrauch und ähnliche Anwendungsbereiche
vorgesehen wie zum Beispiel
in Personalküchen von Läden, Büros und anderen Arbeitsbereichen
in der Landwirtschaft
von Gästen in Hotels, Motels oder anderen Unterkünften
in Frühstückspensionen
im Catering und ähnlichen Großhandelsanwendungen
Das Gerät ist auch für Camping-Zwecke geeignet. Das Gerät darf keinem
Regen ausgesetzt werden.

5 Technische Beschreibung
Die Kühlbox ist für den mobilen Einsatz geeignet. Sie kann Waren bis
max. 18 °C unter Umgebungstemperatur abkühlen bzw. kühl halten (SC26,
SCT26, SC30, SC38) oder auf max. 65 °C wärmen (SC30, SC38).
Die Kühlung ist eine verschleißfreie Peltierkühlung mit Wärmeabfuhr durch
einen Lüfter.
VORSICHT! Gesundheitsgefahr!
Prüfen Sie bitte, ob die Kühlleistung des Gerätes den Anforderun-
gen der Lebensmittel oder Medikamente entspricht, die Sie
kühlen wollen.

5.1 Bedienelemente
Nur SC30, SC38:
Wählen Sie mit dem Betriebsmodusschalter (Abb. 25, Seite 3) den
gewünschten Modus (Cold = Kühlen; Hot = Wärmen).
Wenn das Kühlgerät am Wechselstromnetz angeschlossen ist, kann es in
zwei verschiedenen Betriebsarten verwendet werden:
ECO-Modus: das Kühlgerät verbraucht weniger Energie
MAX-Modus: das Kühlgerät erreicht die maximale Kühlleistung
Die gewünschte Kühlleistung wird mit dem Kühlleistungsregler (Abb. 26,
Seite 3) eingestellt:
➤Um die Kühlleistung zu erhöhen, drehen Sie den Kühlleistungsregler im
Uhrzeigersinn.
Für die maximale Kühlleistung drehen Sie den Kühlleistungsregler bis
zum Anschlag im Uhrzeigersinn (Position „MAX“).
➤Um die Kühlleistung zu verringern, drehen Sie den Kühlleistungsregler
gegen den Uhrzeigersinn.
Um das Kühlgerät auszuschalten, drehen Sie den Kühlleistungsregler bis
zum Anschlag gegen den Uhrzeigersinn (Position „OFF“).
Wenn das Kühlgerät an der Gleichstromsteckdose angeschlossen ist, kann
die Kühlleistung nicht eingestellt werden.

VORSICHT! Gesundheitsgefahr!
Lebensmittel dürfen nur in Originalverpackungen oder
geeigneten Behältern eingelagert werden.
ACHTUNG! Beschädigungsgefahr!
Achten Sie darauf, dass sich nur Gegenstände bzw. Waren im
Kühlgerät befinden, die auf die gewählte Temperatur gekühlt
werden dürfen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie Getränke oder Speisen in Glas-
behältern nicht zu stark abkühlen. Beim Gefrieren dehnen sich
Getränke oder flüssige Speisen aus. Dadurch können die
Glasbehälter zerstört werden.
Achten Sie darauf, dass das Kühlgerät gut belüftet wird, damit
die entzogene Wärme abgeführt werden kann, andernfalls ist
eine ordnungsgemäße Funktion nicht gewährleistet. Insbe-
sondere dürfen die Lüftungsöffnungen nicht abgedeckt
werden.
HINWEIS
Bevor Sie das neue Kühlgerät in Betrieb nehmen, sollten Sie
es aus hygienischen Gründen innen und außen mit einem
feuchten Tuch reinigen (siehe auch Kapitel „Reinigung und
Pflege“ auf Seite 16).
Ein paar Wassertropfen können sich im Inneren des Kühl-
gerätes absetzen, wenn es längere Zeit gekühlt hat. Dies ist
normal, weil die Feuchtigkeit in der Luft zu Wassertropfen
kondensiert, wenn die Temperatur im Kühlgerät abkühlt. Das
Kühlgerät ist nicht defekt. Wischen Sie es ggf. mit einem
trockenen Tuch aus.
Wenn der Griff nach hinten umgelegt ist oder das Kühlgerät
getragen wird, ist der Deckel verschlossen. Sie können den
Deckel nur öffnen, wenn der Griff nach vorne umgelegt ist.

6.1 Tipps zum Energiesparen
Wählen Sie einen gut belüfteten und vor Sonnenstrahlen geschützten
Einsatzort.
Wenn Sie eine erhöhte Energieeffizienz und eine begrenzte Kühlleistung
für das Kühlgerät einrichten wollen, nutzen Sie den ECO-Modus des
Kühlgerätes.
Lassen Sie warme Speisen erst abkühlen, bevor Sie sie im Kühlgerät kühl
halten.
Öffnen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht häufiger als nötig.
Lassen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht länger offen als nötig.
6.2 Räder montieren (nur SC38)
➤Montieren Sie die Räder wie dargestellt an das Kühlgerät (Abb. 3,
Seite 4).
6.3 Kühlgerät im Gleichstrom-Betrieb verwenden

➤Stellen Sie das Kühlgerät auf eine feste Unterlage.
➤Schließen Sie das Gleichstrom-Anschlusskabel an die Gleichstrom-
steckdose im Fahrzeug an.
✓Das Gerät startet mit dem Kühlen oder Wärmen des Innenraums.
➤Ziehen Sie das Gleichstrom-Anschlusskabel heraus, um das Kühlgerät
außer Betrieb zu nehmen.
HINWEIS
Wenn Sie das Kühlgerät an die Gleichstromsteckdose Ihres
Fahrzeugs anschließen, beachten Sie, dass Sie ggf. die Zündung
einschalten müssen, damit das Gerät mit Strom versorgt wird.

6.4 Kühlgerät im Wechselstrom-Betrieb verwenden
(nur SC30, SC38)
➤Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine feste Unterlage.
➤Schließen Sie das Wechselstrom-Anschlusskabel an das Wechselstrom-
netz an.
➤Drehen Sie den Kühlleistungsregler (Abb. 26, Seite 3) in die
gewünschte Stellung.
➤Schieben Sie den Betriebsmodusschalter (Abb. 25, Seite 3) in die
Position „Cold“ (Kühlen) oder „Hot“ (Wärmen), um das Kühlgerät einzu-
schalten.
✓Das Kühlgerät startet mit dem Kühlen oder Wärmen des Innenraums.
6.5 Innenraum aufteilen (nur SC38)
Sie können den Innenraum des Kühlgeräts wie folgt aufteilen (Abb. 4,
Seite 4):
Kein Trenngitter (A): Beide Kühlfächer werden aktiv gekühlt oder
erwärmt.
Offenes Trenngitter (B): Das große Kühlfach wird aktiv gekühlt oder
erwärmt. Das kleine Kühlfach wird weniger gekühlt oder erwärmt.
Geschlossenes Trenngitter (C): Das große Kühlfach wird aktiv gekühlt
oder erwärmt. Das kleine Kühlfach wird nur passiv gekühlt oder erwärmt.

➤Bauen Sie das Trenngitter wie dargestellt ein (Abb. 5, Seite 5).
HINWEIS
Montieren Sie den Steg auch, wenn Sie die Kühlgerät ohne
Trenngitter betreiben, damit die Deckel richtig schließen.

6.6 USB-Anschluss für Spannungsversorgung
Sie können den USB-Anschluss (Abb. 21, Seite 3) zum Laden von Klein-
geräten (z. B. Mobiltelefone und MP3-Player) nutzen.
Die Benutzung der USB-Buchse beeinflusst nicht die Kühlleistung.

Gehen Sie wie folgt vor (Abb. 2, Seite 3):
➤Verbinden Sie den Gleichstromstecker (2) oder Wechselstromstecker (3)
des Kühlgerätes mit der Versorgungsspannung.
➤SC30, SC38: Drehen Sie den Kühlleistungsregler (6) in die
„MAX“-Stellung.
➤Verbinden Sie Ihr Gerät mit der USB-Buchse (1).
ACHTUNG!
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das an den USB-Anschluss angeschlos-
sene Gerät für den Betrieb bei 5 V/500 mA geeignet ist.

➤Reinigen Sie das Kühlgerät innen und außen gelegentlich mit einem
feuchten Tuch.
➤Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Be- und Entlüftungsöffnungen des Kühl-
gerätes frei von Staub und Verunreinigungen sind, damit die beim Betrieb
entstehende Wärme abgeführt werden kann und das Kühlgerät keinen
Schaden nimmt.
8 Gewährleistung
Es gilt die gesetzliche Gewährleistungsfrist. Sollte das Produkt defekt sein,
wenden Sie sich bitte an die Niederlassung des Herstellers in Ihrem Land
(Adressen siehe Rückseite der Anleitung) oder an Ihren Fachhändler.
Zur Reparatur- bzw. Gewährleistungsbearbeitung müssen Sie folgende
Unterlagen mitschicken:
eine Kopie der Rechnung mit Kaufdatum,
einen Reklamationsgrund oder eine Fehlerbeschreibung.
WARNUNG!
Trennen Sie vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege das Kühlgerät von
der Stromversorgung.
ACHTUNG! Beschädigungsgefahr!
Reinigen Sie das Kühlgerät niemals unter fließendem Wasser
oder gar im Spülwasser.
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine scharfen Reinigungs-
mittel oder harten Gegenstände, da diese das Kühlgerät
beschädigen können.

➤Geben Sie das Verpackungsmaterial möglichst in den entsprechenden
Recycling-Müll.
MWenn Sie das Produkt endgültig außer Betrieb nehmen, infor-
mieren Sie sich bitte beim nächsten Recyclingcenter oder bei
Ihrem Fachhändler über die zutreffenden Entsorgungsvorschriften.

4 Intended use
The cooling device can be used to cool (SC26, SCT26, SC30, SC38) and
keep foodstuffs warm (only SC30, SC38). It is possible to change between
the heating and cooling operation by means of a switch (only SC30, SC38).
The device can be connected as follows:
SC26: to 12 Vg
SCT26: to 12 Vg or to 24 Vg
SC30, SC38: to 12 Vg or to 230 Vw
The cooling device is intended to be used in household and similar
applications such as
staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments
farm houses
clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments
bed and breakfast type environments
catering and similar non-retail applications
The appliance may also be used for camping use. The appliance shall not to
be exposed to rain.

5 Technical description
The cooler is suitable for mobile use. You can cool products to a maximum
of 18 °C under the ambient temperature (SC26, SCT26, SC30, SC38) or
warm them to a maximum of 65 °C (SC30, SC38).
Its cooling system is a non-wearing Peltier cooling, the heat is discharged by
a fan.
CAUTION! Health hazard!
Please check if the cooling capacity of the device is suitable for
storing the food or medicine you wish to cool.

5.1 Control elements
Only SC30, SC38:
The desired mode is selected with the cold/hot switch (fig. 25, page 3).
When the cooler is connected to an AC mains supply, it can be used in two
different operating modes:
ECO mode: the cooler consumes less energy
MAX mode: the cooler reaches maximum cooling capacity
The desired cooling capacity is selected with the cooling capacity control
(fig. 26, page 3):
➤To increase the cooling capacity, turn the cooling capacity control clock-
wise.
For the maximum cooling capacity turn the cooling capacity control
clockwise all the way to the stop (MAX position).
➤To decrease the cooling capacity, turn the cooling capacity control
counterclockwise.
To turn off the cooler, turn the cooling capacity control counterclockwise all
the way to the stop (OFF position).
When the cooler is connected to the DC socket, the cooling capacity cannot
be adjusted.

6.1 Energy saving tips
Choose a well ventilated installation location which is protected against
direct sunlight.
If you want to set an increased energy efficiency and a limited cooling
capacity for the cooler device, use the device’s ECO mode.
Allow warm food to cool down first before placing it in the cooling device
to keep cool.
Do not open the cooling device more often than necessary.
Do not leave the cooling device open for longer than necessary.
CAUTION! Health hazard!
Food may only be stored in its original packaging or in suitable
containers.
NOTICE! Risk of damage
Ensure that the objects placed in the cooler are suitable for
cooling to the selected temperature.
Ensure that food or liquids in glass containers are not
excessively refrigerated. Liquids expand when they freeze
and can therefore destroy the glass containers.
Ensure that your cooler is well ventilated so that any heat
created can dissipate. Otherwise proper functioning cannot be
ensured. It is especially important not to cover the air vents.
NOTE
Before starting your new cooling device for the first time, you
should clean it inside and outside with a damp cloth for
hygienic reasons (please also refer to the chapter “Cleaning
and maintenance” on page 29).
A few water drops may form inside the cooler if it has been
cooling for a lengthy period. This is normal because the
moisture in the air condenses to water when the temperature
in the cooler falls. The cooler is not defective. Wipe it out with
a dry cloth if necessary.
If the handle is folded back of if the cooler is being carried, the
lid is locked. You can only open the lid when the handle is
folded forwards.

6.2 Mounting the wheels (only SC38)
➤Mount the wheels as shown to the cooling device (fig. 3, page 4).
6.3 Using the cooler in DC mode

➤Place the device on a firm base.
➤Connect the DC connection cable to the cigarette lighter or the DC socket
in the vehicle.
✓The device starts cooling/heating the interior.
➤To switch off the cooling device, disconnect the DC connection cable.
6.4 Using the cooler in AC mode (only SC30, SC38)
➤Place the device on a firm base.
➤Connect the AC cable to the AC mains supply.
➤Turn the cooling capacity control (fig. 26, page 3) to the desired
position.
➤Push the cold/hot switch (fig. 25, page 3) to the position “Cold” (cooling)
or “Hot” (heating) to switch the device on.
✓The device starts cooling/heating the interior.
NOTE
If you connect the cooler to the cigarette lighter of your vehicle,
remember that the ignition must be turned on to supply it with
power.

6.5 Devide the interior (only SC38)
You can devide the interior of the refrigerator as follows (fig. 4, page 4):
No partition grille (A): Both coolers are actively cooled or heated.
Open partition grille (B): The large cooling compartment is actively cooled
or heated. The small cooling compartment is less cooled or heated.
Closed partition grille (C): The big cooling compartment is actively cooled
or heated. The small refrigerator compartment is passively cooled or
heated.

➤Mount the partition grille as shown (fig. 5, page 5).
6.6 USB port for power supply
The USB port (fig. 21, page 3) allows you to charge small devices like
mobile phones and mp3-players.
Using the USB port does not affect the cooling performance.

Proceed as follows (fig. 2, page 3):
➤Connect the DC connection cable (2) or the AC connection cable (3) of
the cooling device with the power supply.
➤SC30, SC38: Turn the cooling capacity control (6) to the “MAX” position.
➤Connect your device to the USB port (1).
NOTE
Mount the bar, even if you operate the cooling device without par-
tition grille, so that the lids can close properly.
NOTICE!
Ensure that any device connected to the USB port is compatible
with 5 V/500 mA operation.

➤Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins
wherever possible.
MIf you wish to finally dispose of the product, ask your local recycling
centre or specialist dealer for details about how to do this in
accordance with the applicable disposal regulations.

N’utilisez pas la glacière pour le transport de produits corrosifs
ou de solvants.
Cette glacière contient du cyclopentane inflammable dans son
isolation. Les gaz contenus dans le matériau d'isolation exigent
une procédure de retraitement particulière. Une fois que vous
ne l'utilisez plus, recyclez l'appareil de manière conforme.

5 Description technique
La glacière convient pour une utilisation mobile. Elle peut réfrigérer ou
conserver au frais des produits jusqu'à max. 18 °C en dessous de la
température ambiante (SC26, SCT26, SC30, SC38) ou chauffer ceux-ci à
max. 65 °C (SC30, SC38).
La réfrigération est assurée par effet Peltier, sans usure, avec évacuation de
la chaleur par ventilateur.
ATTENTION ! Risques pour la santé
Veuillez vérifier si la puissance frigorifique de l'appareil corres-
pond à la température de conservation recommandée pour les ali-
ments ou les médicaments que vous souhaitez conserver au
frais.

5.1 Éléments de commande
Uniquement SC30, SC38 :
À l'aide du commutateur du mode de fonctionnement (fig. 25, page 3),
sélectionnez le mode souhaité (Cold = refroidissement ; Hot = chauffage).
Si l'appareil de réfrigération est raccordé au réseau alternatif, il peut être
utilisé dans deux modes différents :
Mode ECO : la glacière consomme moins d'énergie
Mode MAX : la glacière atteint la puissance frigorifique maximale
La puissance frigorifique souhaitée est réglée par le biais du régulateur de
puissance frigorifique (fig. 26, page 3) :
➤Pour augmenter la puissance frigorifique, tournez le régulateur de
puissance frigorifique dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre.
Pour la puissance frigorifique maximale, tournez le régulateur dans le

Les produits alimentaires doivent être conservés dans leurs
emballages originaux ou dans des récipients appropriés.
AVIS ! Risque d'endommagement
Veillez à ne déposer dans la glacière que des objets ou des ali-
ments qui peuvent être réfrigérés à la température sélection-
née.
Veillez à ce que les boissons ou aliments placés dans des réci-
pients en verre ne soient pas soumis à des températures trop
basses. En gelant, le volume des boissons et aliments liquides
augmente. Les récipients en verre risquent alors de se casser.
Veillez à ce que la glacière soit bien ventilée afin que la cha-
leur dégagée soit évacuée. Sinon, un fonctionnement correct
n'est pas garanti. Les orifices d'aération, en particulier, ne
doivent pas être recouverts.
REMARQUE
Avant la mise en service de l'appareil neuf, nous vous conseil-
lons, pour des raisons d’hygiène, d'en nettoyer l’intérieur et
l’extérieur à l’aide d’un tissu humide (voir aussi chapitre
« Entretien et nettoyage », page 43).
Quelques gouttes d'eau peuvent se former à l'intérieur du
réfrigérateur s'il est utilisé pendant un temps assez long.
Ceci est normal, car l'humidité de l'air se condense en gouttes
d'eau lorsque la température baisse dans le réfrigérateur. Le
réfrigérateur n'est pas défectueux. Essuyez-le éventuellement
avec un chiffon sec.
Si la poignée repose vers l'arrière ou que glacière est en cours
de transport, le couvercle est verrouillé. L'appareil ne peut être
ouvert que lorsque la poignée repose vers l'avant.

6.1 Comment économiser de l'énergie ?
Choisissez un emplacement bien aéré et à l'abri du soleil.
Si vous souhaitez une efficacité énergétique accrue et une puissance
frigorifique limitée pour votre glacière, utilisez le mode ECO.
Laissez refroidir les aliments chauds avant de les déposer dans la
glacière.
Ne pas ouvrir la glacière plus souvent que nécessaire.
Ne laissez pas la glacière ouverte plus longtemps que nécessaire.
6.2 Montage des roues (uniquement SC38)
➤Montez les roues sur l'appareil de réfrigération comme indiqué (fig. 3,
page 4).
6.3 Utilisation de la glacière en fonctionnement CC

➤Placez l'appareil sur une surface stable.
➤Raccordez le câble de raccordement au courant continu à la prise de
courant continu du véhicule.
✓L'appareil commence la réfrigération ou le chauffage du compartiment
intérieur.
➤Débranchez le câble de raccordement au courant continu pour mettre la
glacière hors service.
REMARQUE
Lorsque vous raccordez la prise de courant continu de votre
véhicule, veillez à ce que l'allumage soit en marche pour que
l'appareil soit alimenté en électricité.

6.4 Utilisation de l'appareil sur le courant alternatif
(SC30, SC38 uniquement)
➤Placez la glacière sur une surface stable.
➤Raccordez le câble de raccordement au courant alternatif au courant
correspondant.
➤Tournez le régulateur de puissance frigorifique (fig. 26, page 3) dans la
position désirée.
➤Positionnez le commutateur du mode de fonctionnement (fig. 25,
page 3) sur « Cold » (réfrigérer) ou « Hot » (chauffer) pour mettre la
glacière en marche.
✓L'appareil commence la réfrigération ou le chauffage du compartiment
intérieur.
6.5 Séparation de l'espace intérieur
(uniquement SC38)
Vous pouvez répartir l'espace intérieur de l'appareil de réfrigération comme
suit (fig. 4, page 4) :
aucune grille de séparation (A) : les deux compartiments de réfrigération
sont refroidis ou réchauffés activement.
Grille de séparation ouverte (B) : le grand compartiment de réfrigération
est refroidi ou réchauffé activement. Le petit compartiment de réfrigéra-
tion est moins refroidi ou réchauffé.
Grille de séparation fermée (C) : le grand compartiment de réfrigération
est refroidi ou réchauffé activement. Le petit compartiment de réfrigéra-
tion est refroidi ou réchauffé uniquement passivement.

➤Montez la grille de séparation comme indiqué sur l'illustration (fig. 5,
page 5).
HINWEIS
Montez la barre même si vous utilisez l'appareil de réfrigération
sans grille de séparation, afin que les couvercles ferment bien.

6.6 Port USB pour l'alimentation électrique
Vous pouvez utiliser le port USB (fig. 21, page 3) pour le chargement de
petits appareils (p. ex. téléphones mobiles et lecteurs MP3).
L'utilisation de la douille USB n'a aucune influence sur la puissance
frigorifique.

Procédez comme suit (fig. 2, page 3) :
➤Raccordez la prise de courant continu (2) ou la prise de courant alternatif
(3) de l'appareil de réfrigération à la tension d'alimentation.
➤SC30, SC38 : Tournez le régulateur de puissance frigorifique (6) dans la
position « MAX ».
➤Raccordez l'appareil à la douille USB (1).
AVIS !
Assurez-vous que l'appareil branché sur le port USB soit utilisable
sous 5 V/500 mA.

2.2 Seguridad durante el funcionamiento del aparato
!¡ATENCIÓN!
Antes de la puesta en funcionamiento, asegúrese de que el
cable de alimentación y la clavija de enchufe estén secos.
A¡AVISO!
No utilice ningún aparato eléctrico dentro de la nevera, a no ser
que el aparato en cuestión haya sido recomendado para ello
por el fabricante.
No coloque el aparato cerca de llamas vivas ni de otras fuentes
de calor (calefacción, radiación directa del sol, estufas de gas,
etc.).
¡Peligro de sobrecalentamiento!
Asegúrese todo el tiempo de que el calor producido durante el
funcionamiento se puede desalojar adecuadamente. Asegú-
rese de que el aparato guarda la suficiente distancia con las
paredes u objetos, de forma que el aire pueda circular.
Procure que no se obstruyan las ranuras de ventilación.
No introduzca líquidos ni hielo en el contenedor interior.

La nevera es apta para enfriar (SC26, SCT26, SC30, SC38) y calentar (solo
SC30, SC38) alimentos. Con un interruptor se puede cambiar entre el modo
de calentamiento y el de enfriamiento (solo SC30, SC38).
El aparato puede conectarse del siguiente modo:
SC26: a 12 Vg
SCT26: a 12 Vg o a 24 Vg
SC30, SC38: a 12 Vg o a 230 Vw
Esta nevera está concebida para el uso doméstico o usos similares, como
por ejemplo:
en las cocinas destinadas al personal en establecimientos comerciales,
oficinas u otros recintos de trabajo
en el trabajo en el campo
para los huéspedes de hoteles, moteles u otros tipos de alojamiento
en pensiones con desayuno
en servicios de catering y otras aplicaciones semejantes
El aparato también es adecuado para su uso en campings, pero no debe
quedar expuesto a la lluvia.

5 Descripción técnica
La nevera está prevista para un uso portátil. Puede enfriar o mantener fríos
productos hasta un máx. de 18 °C por debajo de la temperatura ambiente
(SC26, SCT26, SC30, SC38), o calentarlos a un máx. de 65 °C (SC30,
SC38).
La refrigeración se produce por efecto Peltier sin desgaste y con evacuación
de calor por medio de un ventilador.

Compruebe si la potencia de refrigeración del aparato cumple las
exigencias de los alimentos o medicamentos que desea enfriar.

5.1 Elementos de mando
Solo SC30, SC38:
Seleccione con el interruptor de modo de funcionamiento (fig. 25,
página 3) el modo que desee (Cold = enfriar; Hot = calentar).
Cuando la nevera se conecta a una red de corriente alterna, ofrece dos
modos de funcionamiento diferentes:
Modo ECO: la nevera consume menos energía
Modo MAX: la nevera alcanza la máxima potencia de refrigeración
La potencia deseada se ajusta con el regulador de potencia de refrigeración
(fig. 26, página 3):
➤Para aumentar la potencia de refrigeración, gire el regulador en el
sentido de las agujas del reloj.
Para la alcanzar la potencia máxima, gire el regulador hasta el tope en el
sentido de las agujas del reloj (posición “MAX”).
➤Para disminuir la potencia de refrigeración, gire el regulador en el
sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj.
Para apagar la nevera, gire el regulador hasta el tope en el sentido contrario
a las agujas del reloj (posición “OFF”).
Si la nevera está conectada al enchufe de CC, la potencia de refrigeración
no se puede regular.

6.1 Consejos para ahorrar energía
Elija un lugar de montaje correctamente ventilado y protegido de la radia-
ción solar.
Utilice el modo ECO si desea ajustar una mayor eficacia energética y una
potencia de refrigeración limitada de la nevera.
Antes de introducir alimentos calientes, deje que se enfríen.
Evite abrir la nevera más de lo necesario.
No deje la nevera abierta más tiempo del que sea necesario.
6.2 Montaje de ruedas (solo SC 38)
➤Monte las ruedas en la nevera tal y como se representa (fig. 3,
página 4).
6.3 Utilizar la nevera en funcionamiento con corriente
continua

➤Coloque la nevera sobre una base firme.
➤Conecte el cable de conexión de corriente continua a la toma de corriente
continua del vehículo.
✓La nevera empezará a refrigerar o a calentar el interior.
➤Para apagar la nevera, desenchufe el cable de conexión de corriente
continua.
NOTA
Cuando conecte la nevera al enchufe de corriente continua del
vehículo, tenga en cuenta que, en caso necesario, tendrá que
accionar el encendido del vehículo para que el aparato obtenga
suministro de corriente.
